Another great night at our favourite local restaurant, this time for a wine tasting evening which was thoroughly enjoyable, a selection of canapés, including pies and sausages (if these class as canapés) were delicious. We eat here a lot, this evening was a change from the norm, but highly recommend the queenie scallops, belly pork and steaks. The Sunday lunches...

This was our second visit, we both thoroughly enjoyed our meal. I had belly pork with mustard mash it was so succulent, my husband had fish and chips the batter was so light Give the chef a payrise he deserves it.

What a pleasure that was! Visited The Olive Branch Inn on Sunday and it was nothing short of fantastic! Such a warm welcome, with probably some of the finest friendly staff I've had the pleasure to be served by! Special mentions to Louise and Amy who were really lovely! Plus as if that wasn't good enough, the food we had...

Been here several times and was disappointed this time. Things seem to have changed which is fine, change is usually good but things just didn't seem to work. It was a Saturday night and the place was very quiet and therefore lacking in atmosphere. Service was good although the welcome from the owner wasn't apparent. The food was ok but...

Outwardly friendly place run by nice staff but inconsistency throughout. The food is good and cooked with some skill. The place needs a renovation and looks tired. Some comments to our group by who looks like the manager of front of house could have been taken the wrong way and that maybe just the way she is. Being sat by...

Came for a Sunday dinner. Booked a table online which was really easy. The food was served promptly and was delicious. The wine was gorgeous and the staff were attentive but not intrusive. Had a lovely time and will definitely return!

I booked an overnight stay package for my parents for a 70th birthday gift, They love walking so the Olive Branch is an ideal location. I thought the package was excellent value and included 3 course meal and breakfast the next. You can order anything off the full al a carte menu. They could only manage 2 courses due to...

This is our third visit, but the first where we also stayed B&B. Previous visits were with other family members (up to 16 of us), but this time it was just me and Nicki enjoying some 'us' time. Louise was as welcoming as ever, always good to have a friendly and familiar face. She showed us to our room (Serengeti)...

2nd stay here after my contracted works hotel was fully booked and have to say its a refreshing change. For any business person their corporate rate is ideal with comfortable rooms and great food. Wifi is free and easy to get onto so you can still catch up on work of you need to. Would recommend this to anyone looking...

Stayed once again on the DBB deal. Had a lovely stay and our meal was beautiful. Relaxed atmosphere and lovely staff. Breakfast was excellent. Lovely to see a younger member of the family helping out so very well. It's our first choice for an overnight stay, close to home but a special treat.
