This is a family run farm guest house with a fascinating history, set in beautiful surroundings - hills, stream, sheep - in a very peaceful area. I stayed here with two friends out of season, and we could not have been better cared for. The rooms we were given were very spacious, and extremely well furnished.

As a solo traveller I welcomed the pot of tea ( in silver pot) and chat on arrival. Tasteful spacious room. I was given the double at the front rather than the single at the back which was a generous gesture.

We had the pleasure of staying here in January. The home is a lovely old Georgian home built in 1620. Our hosts were very welcoming. Our room was very large with a huge ensuite bathroom. Downstairs in the loungeroom there was an open log fire which was great in the middle of winter and made it feel very cosy. Being...
