Ok, the pros .... Well maintained, nice people, picturesque location, narrow gauge railway right outside the site, shop, laundry, playroom with Xbox and swing park for the kids The cons ..... Railway too expensive to use, only 3 showers in ladies and same in gents means long queues, shop is tiny with little stock, electricity cables going straight over site...

I stayed here many years ago when I was single, but this year we've made two visits (so far!) as a family with my wife and I, our two children and the dog, both on non electric pitches as sadly the electric pitches were all full. For me, the attraction is the Talyllyn Railway which passes the site as I've...

We camped here for a couple of nights. The facilities are spotless and I liked the radio in the toilet. The scenery is beautiful and to top it off you can watch the steam trains chugging by on the Talyllyn railway. Our pitch was easily big enough, giving us enough space from our 'neighbours' We had a lovely time and...

We stayed in a caravan on this site during half term and had a fantastic time! The campsite is very spacious and has great facilities, all of which are very clean. It is very close to Tywyn and so lovely that the Talyllyn Railway runs right past the campsite. We took a trip in the railway, which I would highly...

Booked long weekend a tourer and tent. 4 adults and 3 children. This site is tucked away off the coast and is on the narrow railway on the way to the local waterfalls. The site is spaciouse family orinentated and well maintained. A real treat. Well done.

What a find can we pick em yes we can. All you can expect from a family friendly site is what you will get in abundance here. If you are looking for quiet seclusion then I'm sure if you avoid the school holidays then that is what you will get most if the time but I would expect that at...

We pitched a tent at this site for one night & were pleasantly surprised. It's nicely located in the hills a couple of miles out of Tywyn. We found it well managed, tidy & very clean. Toilets / showers were immaculate. Has a small shop on site & the staff member we spoke to was very helpful. Well priced too.

A wonderfully kept camp site in the heart of Snowdonia! Clean and tidy, cut grass site with very good facilities including shop and clean showers. Lovely views and added bonus of the steam railway next-door. A really enjoyable time away and we look forward to coming back.
