Oh just move into one of the self catering cottages or get looked after in a B&B room by Lindsay and Ray who are perfect hosts . The location of this beautiful old home is perfect for exploring Snowdonia. The rooms here are immaculate and you feel like part of the family. Make yourself at home. We got recommendations from...

Mikey7985 is off his trolley!!!! We've just got back after staying for four nights. Lovely room. Beautiful garden with Mother Nature's best water feature. Lovely breakfast. Very helpful hosts. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Abercelyn Country House. Nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely stay again.

If you are looking for a friendly, warming and welcoming home this is for you. The owners are absolutely delightful and do everything possible to make you feel welcome. The home cooked breakfast is exceptional with a nice selection. Waking up everyday to the smell of fresh bread was lovely. The local knowledge given by Ray was excellent and really...

Shocking.....just shocking!! How these people still have a business is beyond me. Very very rude and discourteous indeed. I would advise avoiding as it's probably not what you're going to expect at all!!!! Play safe and go with what you know 👍

Fantastic stay, Lindsay and Ray were great hosts, nothing was too much trouble. Lots of home cooked and produced food for breakfast. Not to mention the home made shortbread for our cups of tea in the room. A delightful cottage set amongst fabulous gardens. Room was spacious and spotless with views of the lake and the tremendous gardens. A great...

This is our second visit to Wsles with friends. After lots of reviewing of TripAdvisor we booked the guest house. We are so happy we did. We had a lovely warm welcome. Tea and home made brownies and shortbread. A fire lit in the drawing room for us. The freshly cooked breakfast were so delicious. There was so much choice...

Where to start! Stunningly beautiful area for walking visiting reading and generally unwinding. This gem of a B and B is run by a delightful couple Ray and Lindsay who can't do enough for you in either kindness or culinary skills. I managed to pick an item from each of their advertised breakfasts and therefore ended it up with Fresh...

A beautiful house with beautiful gardens and surroundings. The owners were lovely and went out of their way to make sure our stay was very comfortable. We stayed in a spotless, comfortable room with everything that we required. The choice of home cooked breakfasts were amazing, as was the cooking! Thank you so much for making our stay so pleasurable.

Breakfasts. Not a normal way to start a B&B review, but I can't think of a better place to start when reviewing Abercelyn Country House. What a great breakfast. The Grove in Narberth is close (and that's a very expensive 5 star hotel), but this wins. Proper bacon, not the stuff you find at supermarkets, even their so called 'premium'...
