A beautiful location. The hotel may look a bit run down but that was part of the appeal. Our room was huge and the bed one of the comfiest I have ever slept on in a hotel, a very pleasant surprise. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast tasty with a good selection to chose from.

Oh lord what a dump! and sucha a pity as the location is beautiful, we called in here for some lunch after a day out on the Train and needed some refreshments after the 300 steps we had been down and up, from the outside it looks like a lovely place to eat but when you walk into the bar...

On arrival we were quite surprised at the appearance of the hotel, very run down and quite unappealing, staff not particularly friendly (except the chef). However as we were going on the waterfall walks and other than walking back to the train station we decided to stay and give it a go for lunch. We went as a family of...

I took a French friend to see Devils Bridge and was so disappointed that visitors may rate Wales by the standards here; uncleared and dirty tables, somewhat unsavoury sofa, tired oilcloth and grubby candle holders on the tables, loos with no paper and hand basins awash with water with no soap in the ladies. Dingy and depressing bar area. A...

On arrival the hotel looks good but once inside you can see it needs refurbishing. Our room was on the top floor with twin beds pushed in to the corners. The furniture is old and needs replacing. The place is littered with different bits of furniture which makes the place look a mess. The windows were taped up with masking...

The decor and hotel is in need of an upgrade. We stopped in for lunch after a visit to the Devils Bridge and falls. The food is good, cheap and non-offensive. The kids ate well as did my parents, and the food was hot and reasonably priced. The tables and service is slightly lacking, and the toilets in need of...

As we walked in a couple said to us not to bother unless we were desperate for a drink. We were, and they were right. Luke warm tea, dirty teaspoon, lipstick on cup, sticky table, surly waitress who was moody even before we had cause to complain. This place has to address some fundamentals and basics of the service/catering industry....

This place needs a complete refurb from top to bottom. When we arrived there was nobody at the reception, so we wondered through into a tea room. What a dump. The place consisted of old rusty velour covered banqueting chairs and tables covered in plastic tablecloths. There was a lady clearing piles of dirty plates and glasses and when I asked how...

This place should be a little gold mine as it is right in the centre of Devil's Bridge with amazing views, and very little competition BUT my goodness this place needs a jolly good scrub from top to bottom! On arrival, we were greeted outside with tables full of empty glasses - in fact customers were clearing tables before they...
