This Grade II Listed period cottage is situated in a quiet position 1 mile from Presteigne. The property is on the border between Wales and Herefordshire in the beautiful Welsh Borders, with scenery typical of the Radnorshire hills. The area is renowned for its fine walking and cycling and the property is convenient for walkers on Offas Dyke Path, the Mortimer Trail and the Herefordshire Trail. We can pick up walkers from these long distance paths. There are pubs, restaurants and shops in the historical town of Presteigne which is a convenient centre for exploring Mid Wales, the Welsh Marches, Herefordshire and South Shropshire. Ludlow, Hay on Wye and Hereford are within easy reach. The accommodation available at the cottage comprises 1 twin room with ensuite shower room, a double room with private or shared bathroom. TV is available in the sitting room. Hot drinks and packed lunches can be provided. Dogs are welcome by prior arrangement.
