We really had the time of our lifes here, friendly people working here,nice rooms, nice weather end enough swimming pools to refresh. Last but not least: The service of Pablo " the mexican boy" was excellent at the restaurant. 👍
Went there for a cycling holiday and enjoyed every second of my stay there. The hotel complex is rather spacious and so are the rooms. Everything was exceptional clean, there was good WiFi all around and the staff welcoming, helpful and extremely friendly. Breakfast and dinner were served in two different restaurants and had a wide selection to choose from. There is also a gym, pools and different restaurants and bars that were never overcrowded but rather inviting. Check-in took longer than expected since most guests come in badges with the busses. The food in the restaurants was OK but not comparable to the quality of the included buffet. Worth to mention for me was that you had to pay an extra Euro or two to weigh your luggage before traveling home if you wished so. Overall I would highly recommend this resort. Especially if you are looking for a good location to train this is perfect. Cycling routes beginn right outside the hotel, there is a open water 25m sports pool 15 minutes from the hotel, next to a 400m track and a park. Pricy but worth it. …

Baobab is an excellent place to stay if you are looking for a holiday in Gran Caneria. Entertainment was excellent at night great fun for all the family. Good choice of food for all meals of the day. Good selection of pools to go to. Beautiful interior throughout the whole hotel especially in the buffets and reception. Overall and amazing stay would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a beautiful summer holiday.
Arrived 06th March after a Marella cruise. Arrived at around 12 and our room wasn’t ready, so reception gave us a lunch voucher for the buffet. A wonderful selection of great salads, meats, fish, absolutely anything. We had the unique junior suite and it was the most spectacular room I could have ever imagined. Clean, spacious and an amazing bath, shower and his and hers sinks. Evening buffet is fresh fish, fresh meats on cooking stations and all sorts of veggie dishes and salads. We were half board, so drinks were extra. We had the standard white wine which was Rioja which cost €18.50 for a 70cl bottle which I think is reasonable for 5*. Absolute Vodka and coke, or any other mixer was €7.20 Unique customers enjoy their own section of the pool with different sun beds with thick cushions. Soft drinks available all day free of charge. The waiters come round with fruit cups and ice coffee. And in the main area of the hotel, there’s an area where unique customers go to have sandwiches, olives and crisps and sweets and cakes all day and also, beers, wine and coffee served from 11:30-18:30 all free of charge. Also, expressed check in and checkout. Also, unique customers receive one complimentary meal in any one of the specialty restaurants within this hotel and the sister hotel across the road, Costa Melonares. We opted for the African themed Akara, which was the most wonderful food I’ve ever had. And last, but not least, a 4 hour spa experience at the OM Spa and the sister hotel. All I can tell you is that it was a wonderful experience to say the least. 8 rooms of anything you would expect and 4 rooms would never expect. It’s a must do. Very good food and service in a very nice atmosphere of the Lopesan Beobab Resort in Meloneras Gran Canaria Spain on my birthday the 11th of March 2023. I would like to recommand this restaurabt to others because it is beautiful good food nice waiter.
Returned to this hotel for a second visit, which is unusual for us as we prefer to go to different locations, having been there in December 2022. The hotel is excellent and the staff are very friendly and helpful. It is in an ideal location, right beside restaurants and bars and a short walk to the promenade. I would suggest that as there are so many different pools that one should be designated 'adult's only' to give all guests a choice rather than allowing children in every pool. Would suggest you request the Buffet Restaurant Baobab as the Marula is very noisy and more for families.
The staff is beyond rude. I never want to come here again. I regret very much that I chose this hotel at the end of my Holiday. It's a nightmare that happened on Holiday. At first,reception did not explain anything about the hotel upon check-in. So we knew nothing about the hotel having activities or how to use the pool until we left. The check-in wait was very long, but all that was explained was the Wi-Fi password, that there were pools, restaurants, and where breakfast was served. Of course, I didn't know there were activities until the last day, and I think the reason why so few people are using the activities is because they haven't explained them. There are many other causes of our discomfort. When we went to the hotel restaurant on the first day, it was closed for the holidays. It was not explained to us at all. On the second day we went to the restaurant we had reservations for and they were only open at 9:00 p.m. We got there on time and were told there were no reservations and had to wait. In addition,I wanted to use the airport transfer service. So I called the receptionist in advance and asked if I could make a reservation. Reception said come pay today if you want to use it. When we went to pay after our dinner, he said, "What time do you think it is? It's too late," and they laughed at us. Even if you tell them that you came as you were told, what time do you think it is? All he said was. His name is Cheik. His rudeness sickened me. I have stayed in many hotels in my life and I have never had such bad customer service. I was saddened to feel that I was being discriminated against because I am Asian. It was a hell of a stay. …
Everything is great except the room. It could have been but it was very old and stinky. Food is good, gardens and pool are very nice. Staff is very friendly. Perfect for holidays with kids. Romantic and quiet forget it.
Fabulous hotel, excellent location, brilliant staff, beautiful landscapes, amazing swimming pools, beautiful rooms, all worthy of five stars. Unfortunately the food is not five star and very disappointing, there is no comparison to the LVC food. When will Lopesan start to labelling food, all restaurants worldwide have this in place.
