This house is fantastic, the pictures online do not do it justice! The house has an out door pool with a spacious terrace and a huge well maintained garden with a large garden area, trampoline, zip wire (thye kids loved this!) and a tree house - the kids were in heaven! Inside there are two large sitting areas and one... More

We stayed at South Penarth for just 1 night, but wish we could have stayed longer! It is perfectly located within 5 minutes of Truro town centre, but secluded away from the main roads. The room was amazing, Judy and Chris were fantastic hosts and all the little details which make a stay extra special were included. Homemade biscuits in... More

We have just returned from a three day stay at South Penarth and can only agree with other positive reviewers. Judy and Chris were incredibly welcoming. The room was excellent - all the little touches that make a stay special were there, from quality towels to home made shortbread. Breakfast was fab, great home made bread and jams, as well... More

South Penarth is the most lovely B&B we have stayed in. Beautiful decor and furnishings and lovely touches like the fire lit, complimentary sherry, home made biscuits, luxurious towels and spacious rooms. Do not hesitate to book a night or 3, you will not be disappointed!

We stayed here for 4 days in Jan 2013 and we were delighted. Judy made us so welcome and provided all those extra little touches; thick soft towels, home made biscuits in our room with unlimited various hot drinks and a proper kettle. We are a mature couple and we found the bed so comfortable and the room spacious with... More

This B & B was was more like the best boutique hotel. The perfect retreat, lovely rooms, peaceful, exotic gardens, with pool. Lovely home-made full english breakfast, homemade bread, biscuits and jam, if all Bed & Breakfasts were like this I would never, ever use a hotel again. Great base for exploring the area.

This beautiful B&B ticks all the boxes. Judy and Chris are charming but inobtrusive, making the most tasty breakfasts, and nothing is too much trouble. The pool looked inviting but sadly the weather prevented its use. Our room was enormous with the most divine bed ever, like sleeping in a cosy nest. After a good meal in Truro it was a... More
