We stumbled upon this beautiful property today and had the most wonderful time. The word B & B do not do this amazing building any justice. Each room is beautiful, the attention to detail is just amazing but more importantly your host and hostess are so friendly, nothing is to much trouble and they really care about the service they...

Possibly the best B&B we have ever stayed in. Wonderful location. The rooms are finished to a very high standard, using good quality furnishings. Sadly only spent a night here but so peaceful. The choice of breakfast was very impressive. The breakfast area is amazing with views of the creek. Some very easy walking in the area.

The room, with a bay window overlooking the gardens and a coastal inlet with boats, was superb in every way. Facilities and decor were a perfect blend of modern and traditional. Breakfast was excellent, prepared by the owners who were happy to chat about the gardens, the beehives, the birds, the boats and all the other delights of this superb...

We only booked for 1 night but would have loved to stay longer. The rooms are all beautifully decorated and furnished. En suite facilities are very high standard. Located about 2 mile walk along the river from Truro in a tiny hamlet. Really picturesque. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was 5*+ with plenty of options to...

We're thankful for the high reviews from previous visitors as just like them this place was delightful and beyond expectations. This place felt like home the moment we arrived for a five night stay. We used this place as a base when we travelled around Cornwall - we saw The Eden Project, Lost Gardens of Helligan, St Ives, Minack Theatre,...

What a wonderful place to stay. Perfectly located beside the tidal river, with paths either side along the banks for walking, running or just taking in the view. Loved every minute we stayed at The Old Vicarage, from the brilliant hospitality of John and Marilyn, the amazing breakfast and the sense of being totally relaxed. Will definitely return here and...

This boutique hotel is wonderful. The rooms have been decorated to a very high standard, the position next to the estuary/river is wonderful. The breakfasts are fantastic and great choice. The breakfast room is also decorated to a high standard and the view is perfect. I cannot find a fault with this place and the hosts make you feel at...

Beautiful building with amazing rooms. Wonderful hosts and a fantastic quality breakfast. There's great walk along the river to a lovely pub if you don't want to drive. I've used up all my superlatives now. This place is my no 1 on Tripadvisor and I travel a lot.

This was a truly stunning B and B, our room was spacious, very clean and finished to perfection. The location was stunning offering pure peace and quiet, but only a 10 minute trip to the city life of Truro. The owners where fantastic, very friendly and accomadting. Breakfast was perfect again in a beautiful setting and all made to order....

Second time here, and such a high level of service consistent with our last visit. Most beautiful surroundings, wonderful hosts and comfort to boot. Expensive but one of my favourite indulgences. Stewart and Marilyn create a very informal atmosphere whilst retaining a very professional service, and boy do I love his music.
