We stayed here because our travel agent was unable to find us a hotel room in Wellington due to the guns and roses concert, so we were an hours drive away from our preferred destination. However, this is a top class guest house with beautiful modern rooms and bedrooms and has the added advantage of a highly personalised service provided...

We were met by Mike and Lynette on our arrival and offered tea and biscuits. We chatted with our hosts until Mike offered to take us for a ride on the beach in his SUV. He the dropped us at a restaurant, and despite my having my own car, he insisted on fetching us after our meal. This was typical...

Hubby and I stayed 2 nights and caught train into Wellington to see Te Papa. Our hosts Mike and Lynette were great conversationalists and friendly. Breakfast was delicious and it was very quiet and peaceful and rooms are tastefully appointed. If you dine out definitely try Maison 8. Food was divine.

We stayed here for 3 nights of a 3 week tour of New Zealand with friends. It was so wonderful a stop that my roomie and I decided to cancel a tour we had booked for Wellington in order to spend more time around Kapiti and the B & B. The accommodations were top notch - clean, comfortable, and upscale....

Mike and Lynette are a friendly and welcoming couple, they welcome you into their home and are very happy to help in any way. The property is in a lovely spot and nicely furnished, only lacked tea and coffee making facilities in the room. On the second night we were treated to a lovely dinner of fish that Mike had...
