Extremely nice people. The owner is there to host. Very clean and calm place. It is the ideal place to stop if you want to visit Monsanto and Idanha-a-Velha. During the winter it was not necessary to book before. But it gets crowded during Easter.

All workers including the owner are truly simpatic and nice people. Very quite place. You have to discuss the room price (compare price with booking. com hotel reception). Breakfast is good, but could be better.

What a find - this 3 star hotel with swimming pool, crazy golf, tenis court, health suite and conferance facilities offers unbeleivable value at about 55 Euro per night for a large double room and breakfast - the location in the small town in Idanha-a-Nova is perfect for traveling around the wonderful old castles and villages (such as Monsanto with...

Hotel is spotless, communal areas and pool are very nice, rooms are very clean. TV very basic with only handful of non-English channels. Breakfast also basic but OK. The place is run by a family who seem to be very good people and are always helpful

We spent a night in Idanha the week between Christmas and New Year and could not have been better received. It felt like home. Mr Diogo and his wife welcomed us perfectly. We had a late check out that gave us the time to enjoy the sauna and jacuzzi. This is the best place to stay in Idanha and enjoy...

This is a very well maintained hotel with large rooms that are kept very clean and helpful staff. The area is thankfully not discovered by mass tourism yet but offers many opportunities for hiking (with signposted trails), exploring historical villages and experiencing life in the countryside of rural Portugal. Idanha a Nova has a few restaurants, good supermarkets and shops....
