I stayed here for 4 nights whilst fishing Rutland/Grafham with a group of friends (Oct 2016). The rooms are of a good size with very good facilities, cleaned daily. The bar and eating area is well situated with extremely friendly Staff/Owners, very fast service and the food was of very high quality, and plenty of it! Breakfasts were always served...

We were staying on the pub campsite (basic facilities) and have visited the pub several times during our stay. Always made welcome and so do locals. The night we went for a meal was a Friday and they had a party booking already in. We were told a table was available in approx 1/2 hour. After only 15 mins we...

If you want fancy food go somewhere else, if you want good pub grub at a good price then this is your place! A great family run "old fashioned" village pub with owners that care what they are doing, as I said the food is excellent value for money, I had a brilliant gammon with egg chips and peas, my...

I stayed here for a week during own of my trips to the area. The room was small and nothing special at all, but it had a charming aspect to it that I can't really describe. Plus, I had my own private bathroom so I was happy. I wasn't looking for a fancy posh experience, I was out and about...
