Just back from a one night stay at Killycolp House. We were attending a wedding at the nearby Tullylagan Hotel and this lovely guesthouse proved to be the icing on the cake of a great weekend. Four of us (3 adults/1child) stayed in the family room and it was perfect, not to mention much more reasonable than the price of...

Stayed for 2nights in this charming house. We stayed in the family room which was spacious and very clean. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and the view breathtaking with 2 large windows overlooking a beautiful countryside. John and Elizabeth were so welcoming and full of pleasant chat. The breakfast was lovely and they catered for us being vegetarians...

I stayed in this charming house while attending a wedding just a few weeks ago! The hosts are by far the most welcoming people you will ever meet. The bedrooms are perfect, spacious and very comfortable. Liz and John even put hot water bottles in our bed for us coming in after the wedding-incredible heartwarming idea. Will definitely be recommending...

Beautiful large clean spacious rooms, with the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on, Ensuit bathroom with everything you need, Elizabeth even put a hot water bottle and fresh milk in our room, tea coffee, tv, and the most beautiful view, breakfast was delicious, toast orange jams, tea coffee, ceral, then a big yummy fry, Elizabeth and John were...

When planning a trip to Cookstown, I looked on Tripadvisor and saw Killycolp had the best reviews I've ever seen. So I didn't even bother to look at other establishments. It turned out all the good reviews are completely justified. It isn't perfect of course (the patchy wifi for example), but for sheer value for money, you cannot do better...

We absolutely loved the 2 nights we spent with John and Liz! Both were incredibly welcoming and by far surpassed the hospitality anywhere else we stayed. We were treated like VIP guests but at the same time like old friends. John even helped us get up the drive as my friend was struggling with the stick shift in the rental...

Killycolp House gives you a taste of living on an estate. We had Granny's Room and soaked up the views of the green countryside. Liz and John are the perfect hosts and provided our entertainment while having breakfast. Highly recommended.

As two young travelers we were taken in and treated like family. You know all the fun antics youngins' like to pull while on their own. (Driving stick on the left hand for the first time and getting stuck) Liz and John are extremely friendly and were the highlight of our trip around the UK. Our room was very comfortable,...

I stayed here some years back and deliberately returned to stay again. The lush countryside, fresh air, warm and beautiful home, friendly family, generous breakfast, large rooms...it is all wonderful and so relaxing. The are lots of tourist sights close by and historic landmarks. This home is also an historic Georgian house, it still has some original glass windows and...

The house is in fantastic rural site but only a few minutes' from Cookstown. We had "Grannys' Room" with a wonderful vista of the front green and the trees - with the ducks and chickens running about! John and Liz are very welcoming and good chat. Bedroom very comfortable but the bathroom is very small. Found a walk at Cabin...
