We stayed 4 nights with Margo and John. They were warm and welcoming; beds were comfortable; bathroom was spacious with both tub and shower; and breakfasts were cooked-to-order and delicious. Margo suggested we visit Knockmany for the fabulous views and the chambered tomb; it

Thanks a million for taking time to post a review Nancy, we’re glad that you enjoyed your stay. I recommend Knockmany to most people as it’s not too long a walk and the panoramic view from the top is fabulous. Glad you also enjoyed my restaurant recommendations, we’re lucky to have a good choice within easy driving distance. We hope that you will visit again sometime.

We got far more than a great room (with a balcony and a very large tub!). We got to know and appreciate our hostess and her husband over the course of our two night stay. Margo went way beyond what is expected at a B&B and made sure our day was filled with interesting

Margo went above and beyond in being sure that we were well taken care of. We love staying at B&B's in the countryside. We were the only ones there so Margo sat and chatted with us about living in Galbally.

Thanks Susan for taking time to review our place. Glad you enjoyed your stay and also that you loved where our B and B is situated , right in the heart of the Irish countryside.

how far it is from dublin international airport
Padma, we also found it to be a good two hours on a day when traffic was light. It is much closer to Belfast Airport. We also went to Newgrange/Knowth on the way up. (It is best to buy tickets ahead of time for Newgrange/Knowth if you are travelling on a weekend or in the summer and want to see some amazing neolithic buildings.)
