Went here for lunch and it was excellent. Lovely, friendly staff, good sensible food and all at very reasonable prices. Been here many times before and always great food (even better in the winter when the fire is roaring away) but would thoroughly recommend at any time. The menu also suggests they do some very good evening meal deals so...

We stayed here during a very sad time following the passing of my father in law the staff were amazing and so helpful we felt we were staying with friends and we so well looked after. Words cannot thank all the staff for their kindness and genuine sympathy. I would highly recommend both the hotel and the restaurant.

Dobbin"s inn makes you feel like you went back in time. The owners explained the history of the inn,and it"s connection to the Dobbin castle. Outstanding hospitality. The food they serve is great tasting Irish specialty. Don't forget to ask about the room where the ghost resides!! It was the highlight of our trip to Ireland.

Every person we encountered during our stay was so friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and clean.the breakfast in the morning is delicious and our breakfast attendant started a fire for us in the restaurant that we could enjoy. Would stay again.

This is a hotel with so much history and so much potential. We read a lot of reviews but we were disappointed. The rooms are worth what you pay for them, and this really is an old style inn, but the food was not great. My wife couldn't eat her meal, due to it containing the most greasy, stuck together...

We called in here for lunch while visiting Carrickfergus Castle and were very pleasantly surprised. There was a set menu where you could get 2 courses for £12 and they were utterly delicious. We were expecting small portions and a limited menu but the portions were huge and there was a lot of choice. where else would you get half...

We stayed here because everywhere in Belfast was booked up but this turned out to be to our advantage. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The bar was welcoming and the Guiness was good. The room was very comfy and clean. Best of all was the traditional breakfast which was possibly the best cooked breakfast I've ever had. And...

This is an old style hotel in the centre of Carrickfergus, with a lovely little bar. It's just across the road from Spoon's, but a totally different clientele. Spoons is a bit ruff ' ready, where this is a lot more refined. It has low ceilings and soft lighting and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. Sports are shown...
