I want to get this right. Yes, there is a giant mural of Finn MacCool on the outside. Yes, you walk into a small very cosy pub through the front door. But do ask to see the rooms. They are all upstairs. It is proprietor run. The bartender is the owner. This place was built in 1600. The outer walls...

Stayed here at the weekend and loved it. Its a small family run public house with 5 rooms above. The people are fantastic, the beer is superb and you are right in the middle of the town. Rooms are simple but clean and have everything you could need and I had the shortest walk home ever after a few beers!...

This pub with rooms upstairs was quite something. Rooms were adequate but beds not very comfortable. We hit the sack early and stayed awake until 1AM with all the noise downstairs in the pub. No one was there at 9:30 but a group came in about 10 an partied until 1AM.

We stayed at McCool's for one night only. You walk into a pub, and get your keys to the upstairs rooms. The staff were friendly, the rooms were clean, the prizes were reasonable and the pints were cold. Absolutely everything you need from a B&B

We were met with a really warm welcome from Tracey and Raymond and their family at Finn McCools. There was nothing they would not do for you - tips for the local area were really useful and worked well on our daily planning! The bar in the evening is frequented by locals and visitors alike - all general up for...

we feel really welcome there, they give us directions to place to see, we found the room and the bathroom to small, not sure if all were the same size, also they had shampoo and soap in the bathroom but from different trade marks, not sure if people leave them there of if they were the ones who put them,...

Did not stay overnight, but enjoyed a few pints in the pub. The bartender, Leslie, was so hospitable...offering us a place to eat the fish and chips we ordered from down the street and giving us recommendations on places to visit in the area. A great place to chat with the locals (kind of reminded me of Cheers!).
