What a great place for a weekend. We had three reasonably priced rooms and the house itself is a wonderland. Great thought has gone into ensuring guests are well catered for and we felt very welcome. Would definitely recommend and return one day.

Abbeydene House is really spectacular. I do like buildings designed by Charles Lanyon, and it was great to visit this one, from 1850. Tim, who runs the B+B with Ethy, explained that Herbert Lanyon, Charles’ son, bought the place and lived in it from 1885....More
