I stayed at the Chimney Corner for a month whist on business in Belfast , the location was perfect for Belfast City Centre and both airports, however the thing that stood out over all were the staff !!! Especially Martine and Aine , nothing was too much trouble, and they're attitude and manners were above and beyond amazing, always willing...

Lots of reviews have pointed out that this hotel is currently being renovated, but few are making it clear enough that it isn't fit for customers yet. While the reception and some bedrooms are complete, the wrong end of the hotel has been worked on first and you have to make your way through a derelict squat with collapsing ceilings...

Was very disappointed on arrival as the hotel is a building site and this was not made clear on booking. As we had been on a long flight and needed some rest in the afternoon the receptionist kindly relocated our rooms as far as possible from noise. That said, the two meals we had were excellent, the staff friendly, patient...

I had the pleasure of visiting the chimney before xmas ( quick stop for lunch before heading to city for xmas shopping 😩) and on that visit I was thrilled to bits when I read the menu selection, and when food arrived we weren't disappointed , food was hot , delicious, well presented and exactly as stated on menu. We...

Around a week ago my partner and I were thinking about where to go for a late lunch (around 3pm). We decided to try the Chimney Corner Hotel. The hotel is undergoing extensive refurbishment (much needed), On arrival the new reception/bar area was looking well. We were presented with the menu which was very reasonable and offered to either eat...

This will be lovely when it's refinished but at the moment it's a building site .because of all the work going on there is a very basic menus in a temporary room .our food was not good and we wish we had gone on somewhere that wasn't in the middle of a rebuild. Astonishing to think they are still trying...

Second time to stay for two nights at this friendly hotel in a nice quiet area away from hustle and bustle of city. Great staff, so friendly, can't do enough for you. No trouble having breakfast a little earlier than originally available, as I had to leave early for an event nearby. They are having a major refurb but still...

Just had a family dinner last night and really enjoyed it. We understand that they are in the middle of a refurbishment but you would not have known. Great staff and can't wait to go back to see the work finished. Well done.

We have been going to the Chimney Corner for over 25 years and we have found the restaurant ad bar staff first class. Since this time and since the original owner has been taken over we have found the bar staff, especially the original bar men and the original waitresses, to be very efficient and have made always us feel...
