It looks like this place may be up for sale. They seem to be doing just enough to keep the place going. Not the cleanest place we have stayed in. The breakfast was a bit too greasy. It is a bit out of the town centre, so it's a bit of a walk. The Liedl is directly across the road.

Very well located. Alan is an excellent host. The place is clean. Breakfast is a full Irish Breakfast that will keep you going all day. About 500 m away is a Chequers Pizza/ Burger joint and a Spar and a Maxol if you need petrol. Cheap eats.. A great host...., A nice place to sleep at reasonable price.... What else...

I stayed two nights with my wife and our two children in the "self-catering apartment". It was dirty (even the bed sheets did not look very reassuring...) and rather messy. The owner looked confused, especially in the afternoon. The beds (one double bed plus one sofa bed) were uncomfortable, although the rest of the furniture was more than acceptable. The...

Some good points about this place, five minute walk from the town centre and a lidl store across the road makes it well located. Breakfast was good we were asked what we wanted the night before. The bed was comfortable and clean and we did have a good night sleep. But the bed was probably the only clean thing in...

We got a family room-2 single beds and a double bed, perfect for the four of us. The bathroom is clean, has shower and tub, and we...

To start the entire place reeked like cigarette smoke…so bad that my husband had an instant headache and within 10 minutes of being in our room my sister and I got headaches as well. It specifically says on their website that it was a non-smoking environment and has a no smoking policy. There were also 2 dogs running inside the...
