Stayed overnight here with my baby son in one room, and friends in room next door with their baby. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by lovely hosts, they had set up baby gates in our rooms, travel cots and high chairs, children's books and a jigsaw for the babies to play with. We were shown the kitchenette where all our breakfast things were located, good selection of continental and cereal options, nice breads. They had provided soy milk and soy butter as my son has an allergy to dairy. There was filter coffee (yay) as well as instant, even decaf, herbal teas etc The house is beautiful, quirky, lots of interesting things to look at, rooms good size, love the plants in the bathroom. If you forget anything, there is something there you can use - seems everything has been thought of, iron, bathrobes, plates and cutlery, some toiletries in the bathroom available for use. Don't have to ask for anything - it was already there! House is very clean. Mattress wasn't the most comfortable for me personally, but was happy that there were extra pillows in the cupboard and plenty towels. Fly pannels on the windows (great idea). Good sized rooms. Very reasonably priced. Would definitely stay here again.

My wife and I stayed for ten days with Anne and her husband. We were made to feel very much at home and nothing to was too much for them to supply all our needs. As for the fresh eggs every morning laid by her own chickens, I have never seen such golden yokes! Anne’s warmth, generosity and vibrant personality made our stay in Birkenhead all the more enjoyable. Excellent
