Just on the way home from a great (old guys) stag weekend where we stayed here. Twelve delightful bedrooms, loads of loos and kitchens, the most stunning garden, loads of parking, and a short stagger from the Holly Bush (award winning pub). The whole place was spotless, chock full of lovely old furniture, and so characterful. The owners are the...

A group of 14 of us have just returned from a two night stay at Dorest House for a Hen party. The property was beautifully furnished and and plenty big enough with a fantasic dining room but I found it bizarre to be practically sharing the house with the owners. The communal hallway runs between the living room and kitchen...

We were surprised that this member of the 'hen' party responded in this manner. We thought it a had been a very successful weekend. As they were leaving they said how comfortable the beds were and that they had had a great time. We did not think the group would sit outside with blankets removed from the house wrapped around...

Its located in the lovely historic town with shops and pubs a very short walk away. Very considerate hosts who having shown us around on arrival left us to enjoy ourselves. The kitchen is adequate but not large for the...

We stayed in the Cottage for a week, We, being 2 couples luckily we are all very good friends,,,, CONS:The "second" bedroom was off the living room, only separated by a curtain. The down stairs bathroom was VERY small, also the hot water pressure kept falling so the water temperature kept going hot and cold !! The Cottage was advertised...

We stayed here at the weekend for my friend's hen do and had a wonderful time. There was plenty of room for the 13 of us with the bonus of a large dining room and living room which was a comfortable fit to have everyone together at once. There were loads of bathrooms and plenty of cutlery, crockery and glasses...

This property is also known on some websites as Alcester house. The owners run a B&B onsite and allow guests staying there to have keys to the front door of the house we rented. This means that lots of people walk through the house at any time that pleases them either to visit the owners or to stay at the...
