Set around a beautiful lake, these log cabins have all you need for a break away eg fridge, cooker, shower etc etc. greeted on arrival by sandy who couldn't make us more welcome, she showed us to our lodge, and told us to ask if we needed anything. There is a restaurant and bar on site with some lovely real...

We came here for the solstice as it is quite near Stonehenge, we arrived late Friday evening and were greeted very warmly. We were taken to our cabin magpie 2 and it is nestled facing onto a lake, ducks glide across the water adding to the view. The accommodation is compact and cosy, just what we wanted. The site itself...

Visited once again on a Sunday. Fantastic traditional roast. The food is always fresh and tasty. Great venue, friendly efficient staff. The booking was to celebrate my mother in laws birthday and she was made to feel very special. What more could you want. We have never been disappointed and will visit again. You do need to book.

Visited this great place to help celebrate a family members birthday. The food was very good value for money and the service outstanding. A very clean, warm, friendly atmosphere throughout. A fuss was made over the birthday girl which helped her enjoy her day more. I have visited this venue on several occasions now and have never been disappointed always...

We have been visiting Hunters Moon for several years at first with our children and latterly as a couple. The setting is good with the lakes, wild life and country walks. The lodge we stayed in met our needs and had all we required. The meals in the bar were very good. Also, there is free Wifi in the bar...

The lodge is set on a beautiful rural area! However the inside could do with some work, the sofa was broken and the furniture was miss match! But the kitchen was up to standards! It was cold when we visited and struggled to keep warm as there was only 2 electric heaters! For the price we payed you would expect...

having stayed here on two previous occasions I expected more. the quality has really fallen. the cabins are looking tired, the furniture is not the most comfortable and the cabins are poorly equipped. my wife and I went for the fishing which is practically non existant. there are three lakes that are woefully under stocked. the owners are very friendly...

I am perfectly happy with basic accommodation. However, this was not basic. It was just plain cheap! On arrival, we we're put in a "lodge" that wasn't the one we'd seen online and booked. Apparently, there are several lodges each of the same name, so what you see will not be what you get. We spent the first 30mins after...
