This was a passing through stay on our way down to Torquay, the accomodation was nice, a little tired. The pool was a nice touch, however the bathrooms connecting to the pool left alot to be desired. The food was adequate the staff were just... ok.

What useless idiot did they get to redesign the oval room? whatever - what was a lovely room with beautiful views from the big windows totally cocked up by putting 2 baths and a partition in it. No sofas or place to sit. HORRIBLE unmatching and overbusy decor. Crap furniture. What a disappointment - we stayed here many times and...

I've been coming to this hotel for years. I've been here twice already this year. I have visited on my own to relax, with a girlfriend for a bit of romance and now as a father of a 8 year old. Its a dog friendly hotel that I have been recommending for years. With wonderful staff(Kerri Gibson in particular), services,...

Visited 15-16 February 2017 room 3 I have never been to a spa before and it was such a lovely surprise when my husband told me we were going! We booked treatments before going ( I would advise that you do this otherwise you may be disappointed as they are very popular) The room was more like a small apartment...

Room was very comfortable, was upgraded owing to problem with swimming pool, which was communicated in advance. Had evening meal and breakfast, both excellent. Had a spa treatment, mud bath, included in package, was ok. Did not try any other treatments as no information on these were provided on check-in, at treatment or in room. I left an electronic toothbrush...

We arrived Sunday 12 Feb 17 and stayed in room 8. The main building is old and rustic set in a good location. The staff were friendly and attentive. The Spa was nice, we bought the mud therapy treatment as all the massages had sold out - book early. The rooms are nice with a large bathroom and bath. The...

Arrived on 12.02.17 and stayed in Room 20 which was great, with fantastic en-suite and little seating area through french double doors. Dinner was exquisite and couldn't have been any better! Spa facilities and treatments also top notch! Fabulous as a couples retreat and to gt away from everything. Beautiful house and grounds!

Review of Stay at Bishopstrow Hotel 10-11 February 2017, room 21 My wife and I are seasoned away-breakers since way back using these as our lift from stressful jobs and doing this more and more these post-kid days. The latest stay, at Bishopstrow Hotel, generated one of the best of those precious lifts so far. We came attracted by the...

Checked in yesterday into the hotel with our two kids... Our room was very spacious and ready on time at 3pm. However the radiators in our room weren't working. We asked for a change in rooms and immediately this was arranged with an upgrade to a suite. Excellent service. Would definitely stay here again
