Fresh, clean rooms made this a good stop on the way down to Cornwall. Comfy bed and good shower. Good food - tasty, good pub food with a range of daily specials as well. Warm welcome and would recommend The Walnut Tree.

We stayed last night after a great day out at Longleat, the pub itself is a 20 minute drive away. What a find!!!! A lovely little country pub. We stayed in the sycamore room and it was absolutely faultless-beautifully decorated, nice size and a superb bathroom with bath and shower...one of the best I've stayed in. Food in the pub...

We agree wholeheartedly with the previous great reviews. We stayed the night after a wedding in Warminster and four other wedding guests who were staying elsewhere joined us for lunch. They all compared The Walnut Tree Inn with their overnight accommodation, and The Walnut Tree Inn won hands down. The access statement was completely accurate and the room had everything...

We stayed at the Walnut Tree Inn for one night. The service of the staff was very efficient. The room we stayed in was the "Oak Room" - this room is actually a family room so the size of it is impressive. The bathroom had a corner bath and a very efficient shower. The rooms were very clean and comfortable...

Stayed for three nights in the sycamore room. This was clean and comfortable and the bathroom was spotless and modern having a large bath and separate shower. Mineral water was provided and kept topped up as we used it, this is a nice touch not done by many four star hotels. Other nice touches were genuine ground coffee bags provided,...

We (2 adults 1 child) have just returned from a 3 night stay whilst visiting Longleat. We stayed in the Walnut room and had a lovely time. Nice accommodation, staff and food. Had a table saved for us each evening which was helpful. Sunday carvery was amazing. The park at the back was handy for our daughter to play. Overall...

It it's an nice intimate little inn. Our room was spacious and beautifully redecorated. The bathroom looked newly remodeled. Hot drinks and cookies in the room gave it a nice welcoming feel. Just a walk downstairs and we were in the pub where the food was excellent. We would certainly stay again.
