Stayed here whilst walking the Kennett & Avon canal so wanted somewhere near the station to get train out (Pewsey on day 1, Keynsham on day 2) and then walk back along canal. Walking with a male colleague, so wanted twin beds. Excellent room in the attic (although the stairs were steep!), with a loo en suite, a sitting room...

After an extremely tiring 12 mile canal walk entering Bradford on Avon was a delight. We found this elegant house easily and Glenys made us feel extremely welcome, proving a pot of tea with homemade biscuits in the sunny conservatory. Unlike previous comments I found the breakfast wonderful - home cooked pancake and compote and yoghurt with muesli and toast...

My husband and I stayed here earlier this month, it's a stunning property with a large, steep, beautiful garden at the rear which leads to parking spaces, not a walk for the infirm or faint hearted. The guest room we stayed in was dated, situated in a low ceilinged part at the rear of the house , no view from...

Upon arrival, myself and my friend immediately felt unwelcome and uncomfortable, we were shown to our twin bed attic room which was not user friendly in the slightest. The very narrow stairs with a tiny handrail positioned at the top of the stairs only, were covered in dead woodlice and even as able bodied people we found it very difficult...

My husband and I stayed here on a weekend walking the canal from Devizes to Bath - after booking online Glenys very helpfully emailed directions to the B&B about a fortnight before we were due to arrive. Following these we had no trouble at all discovering our B&B. It is a beautiful old home with a welcoming atmosphere. We had...

Recently returned from staying overnight at Lynchetts. I can only echo previous positive comments about Glenys and her beautiful house. On my arrival she was warm and welcoming. Even when there was a mix up with my booking she smiled and carried on. I stayed in the attic room which was full of character and comfortable. I had both a...

From the moment you walk through the gate this place fascinates and delights. Quirky rooms and corridors, and delightful outside area. We were made very welcome. Lovely and quiet. Comfortable bed, plenty of hot water.Excellent hosts. Would certainly recommend.

Opted for Bradford on Avon rather than the busier, more expensive Bath and found Lynchetts through the very helpful staff at the local Tourist Information office. We were thrilled with this choice from the moment we arrived - full of character (both the house and the hosts) and very comfortable. Glynis & George were warm & welcoming, and we enjoyed...

Glynis greeted us with a welcoming smile and introduced us to this wonderful space. Our window looked out onto her expansive garden and wee walked among her plantings. She warned us about eating a proper pie at a nearby place, saying it was a meal meant for two - but nay, I just had to order a proper pie for...

We have just stayed in this B and B and thoroughly enjoyed it. The house is beautiful, elegant and tasteful. Our room was large and comfortable with small, but very clean and well laid out ensuite. While there was no large breakfast menu choice so to speak, this really didn't matter. The food presented was of a very high quality,...
