We booked and paid in advance for a three night B and B (winter break) stay at this Best Western Hotel in order to visit our son and family who have recently moved into the area. It was unfortunate that we found ourselves at odds with the Receptionist who asked - upon arrival - for a card deposit of £5....

Another Mothering Sunday lunch after the excellent experience we had last time. Once again everything was first class. Booked table for 1.00pm and starters were in front of us just a few.minutes past. We all went for roast sirloin of beef for main course and the first thing we noticed when it arrived was the superb Yorkshire Pudding. Not sure...

We ended up here after a disastrous start to our visit to Bath at another hotel( another review entirely!!) What a beautiful location- the views are glorious. The building itself is old and charming. We liked our room- very comfortable and spotlessly clean-only issue was the noise of the kitchen fan late at night and first thing in the morning....

This hotel was lovely. It was a very late check in. But we were made to feel at home settled and relaxed as we arrived. There are clean rooms and helpful staff. No residents bar open after 11pm but Iveralk great x

Looking out over the Wiltshire hills this hotel is clean and comfortable, and the staff are welcoming and helpful. While the menu is not extensive the food is good and well presented. The only downside for me was the rooms which were very hot at night due to the old heating system.

We used this hotel as a base for visiting the area, with a party of 40 people. Bedrooms were comfortable and clean, staff were friendly and helpful, and the food was wonderful despite serving the group all at the same time. There are so many interesting places in the area.

This was supposed to be a short surprise three days away seeking tranquillity and romance over Valentines Day 2017. On arrival Contractors were reassembling Tables in the Public Area of Reception, this gave a very poor welcome and the receptionist on Duty must have been equally annoyed by the appearance and this showed in her meet and greet. The room...
