Having been for many walks along the Beaitiful river in BOA , decided one day to just pop in for a glass of red just to relax as the pub is directly past the route I walk along . We brought this on groupon was looking forward to the stay but on day of arrival how wrong shocked I was Groupon voucher valid till 27th nov So we arrived as planned 4 pm check in time parked payed at carpark!! No car park so you have to use a pay and display until 6p.m and you can only stay for 3 hours. The outside area needs tidying up, it's in a great position right on the riverbank so it seems a shame not to have a well presented garden. The bar area smelt very damp and musty, we just had... More

The hotel itself has an ideal location, next to the river Avon. Amazing old building, parking is not really an issue either but you have to pay alot. That is where it ends. Ok we arrived very early in the morning & they got our room early so we could get our heads down - so very happy with the service & friendliness. Stayed overnight and so glad took no notice of previous reviews. Our room was compact but clean throughout and lovely comfy bed with outlook over the river. The breakfast was excellent and plentiful. We stayed at the Riverside as a Groupon purchase. Our first ever, and unfortunately due to this experience may well be our last. I guess Hotels/restaurants that use Groupon do so out of desperation. We stayed at the Riverside Inn with a Groupon Voucher, the location was beautiful but the hotel is so in need of some TLC. Lovely river view - such a shame this was spoilt by a fithy carpet complete with large toenail clipping, dirty windows (which were single skin - very thin, potentially lethal), cobwebs all over the place, damp towels and a bathroom complete with mouldy patches and an already used bath mat.
