We booked this B & B on the day of our arrival in Bradford on Avon through the tourist information centre (10% commission) as it was a last minute decision. We were very glad we did. We stayed for two nights in two different rooms, 1 with a waterbed and 1 with a poster style bed (pintail room). The water...

This was our first visit to this area and we chose the windmill after finding it, by chance, on the internet after discovering the only hotel in town had consistently bad reviews. The hotel's loss was our gain. We had a wonderfull weekend. The windmill and its owners were a delight. Yes it's quirky, we do quirky so thats good....

The building and its location are stunning. It must be remembered that when this windmill was built cars were not an issue and therefore problematic parking is to be expected. This was clear on the description. We booked the great spur room with a round bed.The bedroom was quirky, large and well presented. An excellent use of space we thought....

I booked the windmill because it was quirky and looked in an idyllic spot to explore the wonderful town and countryside around it. The windmill itself did not disappoint, it is a stunning building with beautiful views over Bradford. Bradford on Avon as a town is also wonderful with many lovely pubs and restaurants to eat in. Our stay went...

Bradford is an interesting and lovely town. Very old and a little bit quirky. The Old Windmill reflects the uniqueness and charm of the town. The rooms are very different - in shape and decor to a normal B&B - but then who wants a normal B&B ? Priscilla is very accomodating if you remember that essentially you are staying...

If you are after a normal bed and breakfast, walk away now. This is Distinctly Different from the outset. A quirky windmill, lovingly looked after. With three very different rooms, so do make sure that you choose the one that suits you best. People talk about the parking. No problem. Just parked where we were asked to. Sure it's tight...

We had a fabulous Bank holiday here with Priscilla and Peter, who were both very helpful and friendly. On arrival we were told where we could park our (small) car, which makes sense as it is a nice and tranquil residential place, and we had no problems with this the whole time we were there. We stayed three nights in...

I love this place. The windmill is perched above the town and there are few better views than the golden sandstone of the town, nestled into the valley. You would love it if you like to be in the centre of Bradford, great views,a home filled with esoteric and diverse materials and a wonderful range of organic cooked to order...

Beautiful views conveniently sat within walking distance of Bradford on Avon. Very relaxing quirky B&B with a warm welcome from the hostess. Some of the other reviews are somewhat unfairly severe when you consider that this is someone's home. Would definitely recommend it for an easy going break away from city life.

Only stay here if you like to be told exactly how to park your car, exactly where to sit at breakfast, get kicked out in the daytime even if you're ill with food poisoning and like to listen to new age bird sounds whilst looking at toy birds in a cage over breakfast. Need I say more?

We are quite upset by all the negative comment about the parking difficulties here. We are simply trying to reduce the nuisance to our neighbours as much as we can and enable all our guests to park off the road in our drive. We try to make the difficulties clear on our web site and in our confirmation information so...
