Alan and Peter have created a quite unique welcoming atmosphere in very comfortable surroundings and deserve every praise for their hard work and commitment. We had not visited before but will definitely return as there was nothing to fault and we have a great time. Thank you

What a beautiful historic Manor house. Historic and tastefully decorated with art and antiques. We had a wonderful spacious room with a four-poster bed and very comfortable sitting area. The host was extremely helpful in getting to nearby attractions and a fantastic chief - the breakfasts were enormous and delicious. Would love to have stayed longer.

Had a fantastic three nights in September. Alan is a great host and a wonder to do it all himself. Not only a great host but very aware of what is going on locally to. I would stay again without a moments hesitation.

i stayed at Burghope Manor from 24th to 28th of August with a friend. The manor and grounds are beautiful and so well maintained. I was warmly greeted by Alan and shown to my lovely room with the most comfortable bed and well chosen furnishings. The bathroom was very well designed. A welcome pot of tea was provided with some...

We stayed here for 3 nights and loved it! The place is beautiful, tasteful and finished to the highest standard. Alan made us feel very welcome and did a great breakfast. There is a lovely pub less than a 5 minute walk from the guesthouse, where the food is very good. The surrounding area is quiet and picturesque. We will...

Approach Burghope Manor, and you feel you might have wandered on to the set of a sunlit period drama. And inside the gorgeous house the rooms are dressed with the kind of country antiques whose patina glows with centuries of beeswax. Contemporary items blend with old in happy harmony; everything has been chosen with assured, experienced taste. The fact that...

This house is in the midst of a small village, yet set back on a country drive, so that it feels very secluded. Our room was very large -- like staying in an old, stately manor. The garden is peaceful; we would have spent more time there but were only visiting for 2 nights. Alan was a great host, providing...

Most gay friendly hotels these days are simply gay tolerant, however Burghope Manor is definitely gay friendly, with a strong emphasis on friendly, such a refreshing change! Upon arrival we were welcomed with tea in the drawing room, within minutes another gay couple arrived, happily introduced themselves and soon the conversation was flowing, we were later joined by another gay...

This is the first time I have stayed with Alan and Peter but looking to go back. They provide wonderful homely hospitality in a great manor house. Despite the B&B being mainly booked by gay couples I felt absolutely comfortable as a married man during breakfast, at dinner and in the TV lounge and drawing room. The food is excellent...
