This hotel is in need of some TLC ! Rooms tired looking, breakfast was poor. The only thing in the hotel that was good was the young lady who seemed to be receptionist, waitress.... Not to be recommended !

We booked last minute. A lovely clean room and a very friendly manager/owner. Breakfast was superb with excellent service. We were allowed to leave our car in the car park whilst we took a walk on leaving day

I stayed at the Swan last night (Saturday) with my husband in a superior double room. This cost us £135 including breakfast. The hotel is in a great situation and has free car parking HOWEVER apart from these I was solely dissapointed and was expecting so much more for the price tag! The hotel is a beautiful building and could...

When booking the room I was told it was small, that's OK, it just stunk like moth balls it was dirty the stair carpet possibly being original and never cleaned. After having a problem in the car park I felt I had no alternative than to return home, leaving a pint of beer on the bar, week end spoilt. They did...

The atmosphere in the hotel was very welcoming and unlike some locations elsewhere in the UK, the locals treated visitors as a part of their extended family. Only temporary kitchen problems prevented a five star review. Do not...

Starters were fine, the high point of the meal. We were there for the Thai food - so difficult to get ouside Bath. This was disapointing,...

I had lunch there today with my partner and daughter. What a great place, full of character. The food was excellent and the Thai curry I had was delicious. The staff are friendly and professional. We will definitely be back. ,
