We only spent one night here but would loved to have stayed longer. It is in a beautiful setting, near a range of walks through stunning countryside, and Penny was a delightful and welcoming host, The room was tastefully decorated and comfortable and breakfast was very good. We would definitely go back.

We have just returned form a 2 night stay at Gratton Grange and would recommend it for a warm welcome from hosts, Harry and Penny, delicious food at breakfast and evening meal, super accommodation and its idyllic setting. The fact that we would return is recommendation in itself. Bruce and Judith Ackers

This is a really relaxing place to stay which feels right off the beaten track but is only 15 minutes drive from Bakewell. Penny and Harry are really friendly and welcoming. Although this is a B&B and it might be more difficult when they are busy Penny and Harry may also cook for you in the evening if you are...

We arrived here with our two teenage daughters in our VW campervan. The hosts were very accommodating and welcoming and ensured we had everything we needed to make us ccomfortable. The breakfast was delicious, with free-range eggs from their own chickens. Our only criticism would be that the double bed in the family room was a bit too small for...

Spent a weekend mountain biking in the area with a friend and stayed at Gratton Grange for two nights. Our rooms were clean and very comfortable, with nice views, breakfast was great, as were the packed lunches. Penny and Harry were very helpful hosts. Would stay here again.

We booked after reading the reveiws on trip advisor. Penny and Harry are delightful hosts and we couldn't have been made more welcome, lovely cup of tea when we arrived. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble. Our room was extremely comfortable. and had a delightful outlook. We were there for our 30th wedding anniversary and as it was a...

The hosts of Gratton Grange Farm are close to nature and this gives them a lovely calmness that reflects in the way they treat their guests. The setting of the farm is absolutely gorgeous. Have a walk up the hill to the hermit's cave to enjoy the view! The room we stayed in was beautiful (great bed) and breakfast was...

A lovely, quiet place to stay away from the hordes. The owners (Harry and Penny) were unpretentious and gave the impression that they really enjoyed having people to stay. They were happy to make us a packed lunch and despite the fact that we hadn't pre-ordered one they went out early on Saturday morning to get ingredients. They provided buckets...

Really enjoyed our brief but lovely stay at Gratton Grange. Penny and Harry were extremely kind and helpful and made our stay comfortable and pleasant. The farm setting was friendly and authentic--wished we could have spent more time! Not in walking distance to town, but just a short drive--worth it for the country feel of the farm. Thanks for a...
