Lathkill Dale Campsite was a great base for us to explore this wonderful part of the world. Gary the owner was extremely friendly and helpful. The amenities, such as the showers and wash areas were spotlessly clean and modern. Lovely detail such as the photography printed on metal of landscapes dotted around both inside and out a really nice touch.... More

Visited here twice over summer, just loved it! Plenty of space for kids, own private pitches with a picnic table on each one. Toilets immaculate and very well-maintained, free hot water! Everything you need for a brilliant camping trip. There's even beautiful lighting in the trees to guide you through the site in the dark! Can't wait until spring to... More

We have visited this site a number of times - the owners are always really helpful and the campsite is always very clean, peaceful and well maintained. It is in an excellent position at the head of Lathkilldale and at the foot of Monyash village which has a great pub and café. Well worth a stay.

The campsite was nice and quiet during my stay and only about a half dozen pitches were occupied. The best feature for me was that each tent pitch was made private by fences and hedgerows, and so no two campers were ever encroaching on another's experience. There was a little road noise, but nothing that would cause a problem, and... More

Superb site with spotless facilities in the heart of the Peak District. Five minutes from Monyash village which has a super pub and cafe. The site is very close to the head of Lathkill Dale one of the best walks in Derbyshire. Also five minutes drive from Bakewell. Owners very helpful, even at 7.45 on a Sunday morning when I... More

Stayed at the lathkildale campsite 17th and 18th of September 2016. Lovely campsite in Monyash,Derbyshire. The campsite has numerous pitches for all types of tents, caravans and camper vans. Good clean well maintained shower, toilet and washing facilities. The campsite it's self is quite hilly due to its natural surroundings. If you're in a tent I recommend camping in one of the... More

We have just returned from a wonderful 2 night stay at Lathkill Dale Campsite. It truly lived up to all expectations and we are already planning our return next year! We were in the field that is pretty much furthest away from the toilets but the picturesque view from our tent made the short walk more than worth it. Whilst... More
