The food was outstanding! I eat out a lot and was surprised as to how good the food was. Try the beef and goat cheese special served rare. Probably the best beef I've eaten in the U.K. The fish looked fantastic too.

Had been let down by another hotel by very poor accommodation, popped in for drink and enquirer about a room. THank goodness one room left. Small but so very clean for a very old building. Lots of tea/coffee biscuits too. Bottled water with decent glasses.Small...More

Four of us staying in Ashford ate there last week and it was such good food we returned for a second night. Most of us had steak the first night and it was really really nice. So much food but good tasty food and HOMEMADE...More

Not impressed with the food, the staffing was poor which was apparently down to 2 staff members calling in sick but I will come back to the fact that the food was not up to the standard I expected from this establishment
