This B&B is very quiet and a very relaxing place to stay. The bedroom we stayed in was very large, light and airy with wonderful views. We had two great nights' sleep and didn't notice any problem with the mattress mentioned by the previous reviewer. Dawn was the perfect host, there to greet us with a pot of tea when...

Lovely spacious room, very quiet, beautiful views from all bedrooms. Comfortable sitting chairs placed to make the best of the view. Comfortable communal lounge with plenty of books. Our host was attentive and informative and took great pride in her food preparation and presentation, breakfasts were a delightful experience. Unfortunately the mattress was quite old and well past it's use...

We stayed at The Hollow for our first weekend away together since getting married and having a baby. The owners were very welcoming. They stored our bikes for us and lent me a jacket when the weather turned for the worse as we headed off to do the Monsal Trail. The garden was very pleasant and the house itself comfortable...

B&B, personal restaurant, tea garden - The Hollow does all these perfectly. We booked their 3 bedrooms for a family celebration. All clean and homely. Large rooms, 1 ensuite (huge) the other two with their own bathrooms justacross the corridor. Beautiful views from all bedrooms across the peak district and over the immaculate garden. We pre-ordered dinner, agreeing the menu...

You like peace and quiet? You want to have good road links without road noise? You love great views? You like to have some space in your room? You like a good breakfast? If this ticks all your boxes, then don’t look any further. We stayed in room “Liz” for eight nights. The only sounds we heard during all that...

My friend, both of us from Canada, I enjoyed an idyllic 2 night stay in theisenchanting B&B, The Hollow. On a bank holiday weekend we drove over to the Peaks from Norwich on the spur of the moment, without any accommodation planned. Logging onto TripAdvisor from a roadside pub at 3 pm, we found the link, called and got lucky...

We recently stayed here with our 2 children (ages 13 and 19) and it was one of my favorite B&B's from our 12 day holiday to the UK. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and spacious and the views overlooking the garden were idyllic. After enjoying "full English breakfasts" at most B&B's, we were pleased to see other delicious options...

We stayed here as a recommendation and were blown away by the place. It is a beautiful house with a gorgeous garden. The room we stayed in was really big, beautiful and bright. The ensuite was also really big and had lovely facilities. The landlady we met was lovely from the minute we met her and couldn't do enough to...

The host, Dawn, is lovely and welcoming and full of helpful information about the area. My friend and I walk round there regularly and always visit for a hot bowl of soup or fresh sandwich. Lovely house and garden. Went today for afternoon tea with my husband and mother and they both loved it. It is almost a shame to...
