Thank Tim for your excellent hospitality. We had a most comfortable three nights in a beautiful location. The room and breakfast were brilliant and you even organised some of the best weather we have ever experienced in late October.

Very welcoming! The room was sumptuous and the surroundings beautiful. Our host was friendly and made us feel very at home and welcome. Great cooked breakfast too! With lots of local information about the area.

Stayed in the 'Balcony room' A large room with lovely views.. Rather disappointed that you can't actually use the balcony though! Bathroom quirky with the bath area painted in a Roman? style. Not to my taste and really needs a good dust in the corners! Shower was great though. Bed large and comfortable. Usual kettle/tea/coffee/biscuits. Fresh milk not UHT. Approach...

I can't say enough good things about Summer Lodge. An beautiful stone clad cottage set in 2 acres of land with manicured lawns and a tennis court. I stayed here for 2 nights in the Dovecote Room and I couldn't have chosen a more beautiful and serene place to stay in. Tim the host was extremely welcoming and lovely to...

My wife and I stayed at Summer Lodge last week when we stayed 4 nights in the balcony room. It was very nice and extremely peaceful. Tim's wife was away but, in her absence, Tim did a splendid job in putting up with us, I mean looking after us!! The bed was very comfortable and the room was one of...

Booked 2 nights here and just loved the entire experience. We stayed in The Linney - Devon for shed. This accommodation is in the garden and far from a shed! King size bed with two wing armchairs, a cosy ensuite and a devk to enjoy the summer nights. Tim was a great host and the full English breakfast was fabulous....

We stayed for one night in the ' music room' but could have stayed a lot longer if we had time. Our hosts were more than welcoming. The room is very spacious and spotlessly clean. The shower is super powerful and a great start to the day. The breakfast was cooked to order and plentiful to boot. We would recommend...

We stayed over the May bank holiday in the Dovecote room. This is a lovely room with great views, very clean & a wonderful comfy big bed. The surrounding area of Dalwood is beautiful & Tim the host (who cooks a great breakfast) lent us a torch so we could see our way back after wandering over the fields to...
