We had a wonderful stay, with hosts being there when we needed them but never in our way. Got to relax and forget about the busy world for a bit. Very interesting decor that kept us busy to find all the strange and quirky things they have come up with. Thanks our stay was great!

We often drive down from Rustenburg to Hermanus and have booked in at many places before discovering Wolverfontein Farm Cottages.....we will not bother looking for another place to stay over ever again. Between Ashley, Andre and the 3 gorgeous dogs you feel right at home. The little cottage has got so much character - we parked off on the veranda...

Ashley was a lovely host and the old farm house was fully equipped, couldn't ask for more. The perfect getaway for a dessert queen. I love the mysterious beauty of the Klein Karoo. It was wonderful to accommodate you, and your kind words are much appreciated. The reserve you speak of is the Touwsberg Nature Reserve, which is literally 500m from our front door. Glad you enjoyed your stay.

Accommodation is exquisite and full of character. The hosts especially friendly and accommodating. The perfect get-away to just switch off, relax and forget about the rat race. The environs are beautiful beyond belief and mountain-biking in the nearby game reserve a great experience. Thank you, Ashley and Andre

Our stay at Wolverfontein Farm Cottages was one of the highlights of the trip. The beauty of the Klein Karoo can really be appreciated here as can the tranquility. Ashley went out of his way to make not only the human but also our 2 dogs feel welcome. A stay at this farm is a must for anyone exploring the...

Most people thought I was mad when I told them I'd be headed out into the Klein Karoo during the summer holidays but I knew exactly what I was in for (heat & sun wise). Sunblock and hats ... and don't go outside between 8am and 6pm. Don't worry, it gets light early and only really properly dark at around...

Route 62 certainly delivered on its strap line of A journey to the unexpected. Replenished with provisions from the more than adequate OK Store in Barrydale, and food and drink from Diesel and Creme, and of course Ronnies sex shop, we headed left off the road onto a dirt track. On our left a reserve with Cape Zebra, which up...

We spent three nights here at the end of our two-week Karoo roadtrip holiday. D'Waenhuis is a lovely cosy cottage, interestingly decorated, well-appointed, and comfortable. The grounds and adjoining farms allow for nice long walks. Lots of stars at night in the dark country skies. Ashley and Andre ensured that we felt welcome, and we will definitely look to stay...
