We stayed two nights at Patrice's place and liked our very clean room and the nice surroundings. Patrice is a very nice host, giving us helpful recommendations about places to go and what's worth seeing. The breakfast was yummy, especially because of the self made confitures and yoghurt! Stayed at Les Cigales middle of September 2012 with my husband. We had three nights there. The owner Patrice was very friendly and helpful, gave us good advice on places to visit in the area. The bed and breakfast "Les Cigales" is set in the beautiful, small, village of Salernes, in the Var countryside just off the Verdon Gorges. It is ideally situated between the Verdon Gorges and the sandy beaches of Fréjus/St Raphael and just 50mn north of St Tropez. Our two rooms proudly offer excellent standards of sleeping comfort, each with a private bathroom and include fluffy towels! Continental breakfast is complimentary and normally served in the courtyard garden. (weather permitting) The BnB is open from May through mid-October. Swimming pool for guests is open every day from 10am 'till sunset ... more   less
