I was well pleased with the accommodation and services at Jungle Huts Resort. I was in room A8 and yes there are some bugs around but its the jungle obviously. The room was an elevated hut with a very comfy bed and mozzie net, hot water and electric fan so way more comfy than I expected for a bargain price...

We were staying 3 nights in the jungle huts. They were dirty and poorly maintained. The Miskito net had holes everywhere and the bedsheets were stained, so were the towels. Plumbing is really poor and sometimes it reeked out of the toilet. The only reason for a rating of 3 instead of one were the helpful staff and the awesome...

We stayed in room A6. We had bed bugs and found a cockroach on our bags walking around on the floor. The place smelled bad and had mold growing on the walls. We decided to try and leave the premises to find another resort, however it was late into the night and it's a small town that closes down early....

Stayed in one of the 'treetop' rooms overlooking the river. Although a rather basic room (what do you expect in a park in the middle of nowhere?), it was very comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful, and weren't pushy at all. The resort is conveniently located, easy to get too and not far from the hiking trails. Didn't inspect...

We booked here for 4 nights; and checked out after one. The fan room was unbearably hot which seemed bizarre as we had been staying in fan rooms the entire trip. The customer service was abysmal and after complaining about the room to the owner in the morning of what was due to be our second home he promised to...

We stayed in a 400 baht fan room and it was cool during the night. The room also had a nice little vanity table i'm assuming crafted for a 12 year old girl. (I am not 12 but still enjoyed it (by enjoyed it I mean glanced at it for a second)) A few minutes walk to the swimming river....

4 of us stayed in pretty nice hut with fan (200pp) with lack of plugs, sink which does not drain away, bit of an ant problem, bad view to the restaurant, which gets loud early in the morning and never-working wifi in the rooms. The overpriced room would not be so bad if it would not be for amazingly arrogant...

Stayed in a bungalow, not a jungle hut, which was very basic but cheap. The bathroom was incredibly wet at all times- every single thing leaked. We booked a day tour for the lake and coral cave, which seemed promising, but the guide was terrible; he had an outburst at the very beginning when he was trying to handle park...

We had a great stay at the Jungle Huts, BUT the river view bungalows do *not* have AC, despite what it says on the hotels.com booking form. So, we had a couple of very warm and humid nights, but the balcony overlooking the river and the visits by monkeys on the balcony totally made up for it! Still, do not...

Nice stuff cozy and clean bungalows. Go here if you enjoy nature! I strongly recommend the 2 day treck to the lake. We walked, swam and climbed through a cave for around 40 mins which was a unforgettable experience. Get good shoes, mosquito spray and a headlight and you are good to go. If you are afraid of getting wet...
