The Jungle Hut Friendly resort went above and beyond our expectations, especially with great knowledge and service from TOY our host! Toy was fantastic and made our trip to Khao Sok special, she arranged an fantastic 2 Day 1 Night tour of Cheow Lan Lake, showed us how to pick mangosteens and rambutan, shared invaluable knowledge about the area, Thai culture and so much more whilst always having a huge smile. The facilities are good, the concrete bungalows are great as they are elevated off the floor with fantastic views. The rooms are spotlessly clean, with air con, hot water, tea, coffee and as much fresh fruit as you can pick. The location is great as well as it’s near the restaurants ( I recommend Thai herb restaurant - pad Thai 40 bhat - again toy recomended), minimarts and park enterance. Fantastic value. As for the tour, we paid 2,500 bhat and it was well worth the money! Due to covid tours had been significantly reduced due to low numbers but again our friend toy managed to organise a tour by working collaboratively with the surrounding businesses! The lake is simply beautiful, so you want to see as much as possible with jungle huts they place you in raft houses that are north which means you get to see a lot of the lake, and the views at the raft house are just divine. The facilities are simple but they do the job and food and water is included. Food was good, breakfast was incredible banana pancakes and #views! The activities in the tour were fun as we saw incredible views, hiked through the jungle where we encountered wildlife including a wild tortoise (very lucky), dusky langers, swam in beautiful waters, did morning safaris and caving! Similar such tours do less and cost more so this is a must with Jungle huts! Toy also arranged for onward buses, and an incredible sunrise at a local waterfall and view point! Seriously guys if you’re visiting khao sok or thinking about it make sure you stay here as you won’t be disappointed! (BIG thanks to TOY for making our trip here amazing - Anna and Dan!!)

We booked the Lake and Cave tour through a different hotel and although the trek to the cave was a little tougher than we had been told, our guide Tae and his colleague were excellent and helped us the whole way through. Tae was very patient even though I was a bit slow walking because of the terrain. He really made the day enjoyable and we loved swimming in the cave and seeing the bats. Thank you Tae!

Our stay at the jungle hut resort was lovely. The views were beautiful and it’s very peaceful. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the rooms were spotless! The breakfast was decent too. It’s a good location, close by to lots of restaurants and bars and also the river where if you’re lucky you can see the monkeys and was nice to cool off in. If you are going to book the overnight stay through them at the lake in the national park, which everyone must see! just make sure you clarify where it is they’re booking you to stay, or look around and see what other places have to offer. The trip to the lake Itself was stunning scenery and nature and included a jungle trek and exploring caves which was great. However the lake hut we were given was nowhere near the photos that were shown to us before we went and were really filthy with badly stained sheets which obviously had not been changed or washed at all and the doors and bugs nets were also broken (we moved rooms twice and each one was the same). When we got back to the jungle resort we mentioned this to the staff and showed them the photos. They were very apologetic and embarrassed and gave us a small percentage of our money back. Over all, the jungle hut resort itself was ideal.

Nice place in the heart of town but off the main road. Easy to walk to the park entrance or restaurants and bars. Friendly staff that helped us book our lake adventure before arriving as well as transfers from Phuket and to Krabi after our stay. We stayed 1 night before our night on the lake and 1 night after. While a nice amount of time, could have easily stayed longer with all there is to do in the town. We stayed in the Tree House as river side was not available. Was a cool room with nice bed. Not our high end hotel as you are in the middle of a rainforest but beautiful. You can also go sit along the river at the end of the property. We waded in the water and had some monkeys come say hello. If wanting to hike in the park, highly recommend a tour so you can go further and see more of the park. They are not big groups but private guides that work with what you want. Staff at Jungle Huts can help you arrange.

It is very simple Hostel but very charming as it is surrounded with a lot small lizards and jungles. Staff is very friendly and you can get everywhere in Khao Sok National Park. Nearby you can visit Monkey Temple, canoe trips, night tracking, etc. We were staying in FF3 and room is very simple: 2 large beds enought for 2 kids and 2 adults and bathroom.
