I booked in for an extended stay and will probably be here for 2 months overall. The apartment is nice, for 1 person I think it's good, when my partner arrives we'll struggle with storage but for now it's ok. The view is lovely - I feel really fortunate to be in a corner room. The reception staff are very nice and helpful. All communal areas are nice and tidy always. Any staff you meet in the halls or lifts are polite and ask how you are - a nice touch. I read the reviews before I came, and so I arrived armed with cleaning products. I cleaned the kitchen and rewashed everything before using it, the fridge was pretty dirty, as was the oven. The bathroom is pretty mouldy and there was a lot of orange scum around the floors, again I cleaned it myself and I'm happy now. As an extended stay I only get cleaning once per week. They were in and out really fast, the floors aren't particularly clean so I might look at ordering myself a vacuum, the kitchen tiles still have food on and they've not been mopped. Balcony doors left open - weird since it's been heavily raining all week. One toilet roll and one dishwasher tablet to last me a week - ideal. I feel like I'm paying enough to have a few of each. One of my windows is leaking and so maintenance "fixed" it by putting a towel on the floor underneath where it's leaking. The cleaners have removed it though so that's handy haha. The spa is nice, the first time I was alone which was great, the 2nd time it was filled with young children and their parents so I left, the 3rd time the jacuzzi was full of fully dressed (?) children and no parents to be seen. Ideally you'd think it was adult only at least in the jacuzzi but I'm not sure how that would be policed. I'd say overall I'd rate it 4/5, marked down only for the cleaning, it really should be better, especially as it's only once per week. I'll update this review after my stay.…
Really impressed with our stay at Meriton North Sydney. The room was immaculate and spacious and service was prompt and friendly. Appreciated the views and the balcony. Room was quiet and pool was a welcome bonus for my 7 year old. Would stay again and recommend to others!
We stayed at meriton north sydney on the weekend but unfortunately we will not return. We when to the spa area with the plan to spend a few hours to relax after a long week . But when we got into the spa we were very disappointed its was only lukewarm we only stay in for 10 minutes we rang reception to complain and they sent someone down to the spa area for them only to say that they talk to there Manger about it and than they left .the next morning when we check out we again complain about the spa and all the receptionist did was to say that he would look into the matter no apology no noting To say that we were disappointed was an understatement meriton customer service was below poor
We stayed at the Meriton the night before our wedding. The staff was super helpful and accommodating. The rooms were lovely and so spacious, which was so helpful with all of the people coming in to help us get ready in the morning (wedding party, family members, hair and makeup artists, photographers, florist, etc.). We had a lot of family and friends stay here as well and everyone was really happy with their stay.
Excellent service, the facilities as always, were beautiful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Such a convenient location, and of course amazing views! Easy access to the city via the station close by, as well as the character and convenience of several gorgeous suburbs to explore. We bought books in the lovely bookshop on Blues Point road, had lunch in Lavender Bay and drinks in Kirribilli all just a short walk away.
This hotel was absolutely beautiful. We booked a one bedroom harbour suite and the views were honestly breathtaking, it made us not even want to leave the room during our stay! The location was also great as well, only a 5 min walk if that to North Sydney Station and a a few short stops later your right in the heart of the city! Highly recommended this hotel and will definitely be back!
Yet another wonderful 4 day stay at the Meriton Suites-North Sydney with amazing harbour views. Staff were extremely friendly and professional and the two bedroom suite was clean and presented immaculate. Thank you to all the staff for another wonderful and memorable stay.
The quality has unfortunately gone down over the last couple of years. Not a pleasant stay anymore. I would recommend staying elsewhere like at the vibe hotel instead in the same area. Meriton is more of a very average serviced apartment.
The spa needs to be hotter. But the room was beautiful you have your own washing machine and dryer. Fridge and kitchen. Semi comfy beds close to transport staff were welcoming been to a lot of Mertions in the past
It was amazing! The room was stellar, everyone was friendly and I couldn't have asked for better. The view from my room was amazing, the staff were so helpful and the rooms amenities were a God send, thank you so much.
