I have passed this pub many times and not ventured in on the way to somewhere else....MY LOSS! This place is up there for friendly staff ,food and cleanliness. I thoroughly recommend the accommodation as I have recently booked colleagues in, at price range to suit most budgets and with an easy stroll to North Sydney centre.. A quick glimpse into the kitchen shows an immaculately clean work area and staff equally as well presented with the quality of the food matching. The $15 rump Wednesday was perfect and a wine list that wont break the bank . I've been in many establishments and you can tell when a place is operated by people who care. Well done to all and thank you for making my colleagues and I welcome. Look forward to many return visits!

What a surprise package this was for the price! I stayed in room 1 at this hotel in early April 2022. The rooms are smallish but perfectly formed: nice wallpaper, USB charging socket in the powerpoint, plenty of hanging space, a big TV, and a lovely bathroom with a big shower rose that rained lots of warm water. The aircon was a delight: it kind of silently wafted from the celing vents rather than blowing a hot or cold stream. Rooms are made up daily with lots of white fluffy towels, hand towels and washers. Plus there is a guest lounge with great coffee and breakfast supplies. The location is convenient to Crows Nest and North Sydney, which is a 5-minute walk down hill. There are 3 GoGet cars within easy walking distance. My ratings are based on value for money in terms of comfort, ambience and location. This one gets five stars.

We stayed here for 3 nights whilst in Sydney. We stayed in room 2, and whilst it was a smallish room, it was compact and nicely decorated and everything felt clean.
In our room we had a TV, a modern bathroom with a rain shower, and space to hang a few things. We had an aircon unit that we didn’t use as the weather was very cool. The linen was clean and fresh, but the bed was a tad small and not the most comfortable.
We liked the communal kitchen area and it was nice to help ourselves to tea / coffee, cereals and bread and preserves. In this area, there was also a communal fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster. The rooms were made up daily, and there is the option to change out your towels.
The location is convenient for the North Sydney train stop, and there are lots of frequent bus routes near to the hotel, so the hotel is in a great location.
Given that this hotel has a popular pub area below, the sound proofing below was excellent but we did hear our neighbours in the adjacent room which did disturb our sleep temporarily.
The food in the hotel is excellent and we had the best fish and chips here. This hotel is fantastic value for money and a great place for a short stay in Sydney.

Beautiful classic Sydney hotel. Room 1 - quiet, large ensuite bathroom, comfortable bed and stylish room.
Across from communal kitchen (cereal,bread, milk, jam,tea & coffee provided) and guest lounge.
Meals downstairs in the hotel excellent, try the barramundi (you won’t be disappointed)

Super clean, cute boutique hotel. Parking on street or $25 per day at hotel Pretty good restaurant downstairs - simple but tasty. Good pub. Spacious bathroom and rooms. Bed comfortable but a bit bouncy. Self serve breakfast/ lounge area. Great if you want a cuppa in the middle of the night. Smoking area well away from non smokers but great for smokers. Park opposite, drive thru bottle shop next door, very helpful staff. Would definitely stay here again. 5 stars if you just need a clean, safe, place to stay with everything you need

We were two couples wanting a feed before going to the Sunset Cinema over the road in North Sydney Oval. The staff are friendly and informative, and the crowd were all enjoying themselves. Percy's is a real gem for an economic meal and a couple of drinks.

Jumped into this accommodation at the last minute and it was so good that I extended my stay. Great location in North Sydney surrounded by parks. Short walk away from the train station. The bed was very comfortable and although the bathroom and kitchen amenities are shared, I did not see any other guests for my entire 2 night stay - I was on the GO a fair bit. Staff were extremely helpful and very easy going. The pub was quite lively at peak hour but I didn't lose a wink of sleep.

What actually should be a nice place turned into a 4 night hell.
The air-conditioning did not work which meant that the window had to be kept open. The hotel rooms are on top of the bar and on a busy intersection.
Could not sleep at all. Ask the management twice for fan which did arrive but it was just as noisy as keeping window open.
First and last time stay here.

I stayed a few nights when I went back to North Sydney. It was good to be back. Great bar, great hotel. Lovely location opposite the park. Room was immaculate and clean and large. Bathroom was just across the corridor. Breakfast was provided. The hotel has lots of character features. Definitely worth a stay.

Best pub hotel room I’ve stayed in. Amazing bathroom a real Hamptons Vibe, great common area lounge and kitchen for guests. Breakfast self serve a real bonus. Love the got out overall. Bus at door or nice walk to station or the harbour bridge.
