We decided to stay at this hotel for one night so that we could go to vivid in Sydney. Transport via bus/train is available (about 10 minutes). It is opposite a park and parking for $10 is available. Chairs/tables are out the front of the property to sit and relax. The receptionist is quite helpful, and a continental breakfast for... More

We stayed at the North Shore Hotel for one night so we could go to Vivid. There is parking for your car for only $10 and it is easy to get into the city. We were given a small room at the back, light in bathroom wasn't working but was fixed immediately. Blind and clock radio didn't work, chair and... More

I needed one nights accommodation in North Sydney this was the only place at a reasonable price. The room was clean and had all I needed. Bed was comfortable and the room was quite. Large TV screen and good air conditioner. $7 gets you a continental breakfast. It's about 1 km from the north Sydney rail station, uphill the whole... More

From the very start you feel welcome, the staff are very helpful and friendly, nothing is too much trouble. The hotel is old but very clean and welcoming with nice rooms and a value for money breakfast available. Be warned though if you are a five star traveler this is not the place for you but if you are a... More

Due to travel change, we stayed in a small back room on the first night, before moving to a front room, which was very spacious, well appointed. Our first time in Sydney for decades, so took a day to work out the bus transport, but not difficult. We had proximity enough to do Luna Pk, Manly, and most of the... More

The room was very small. The bed was ok. The bathroom had some new fittings, taps, showerhead, etc but they hadn't bothered to fix the leaning glass shelf above the basin. This was also cracked. No hand towel provided either. Would prefer to stay elsewhere.

I booked this hotel in some urgency as we'd had some issues in our house making it impossible to sleep there overnight. We have a dog and needed a place that was pet friendly. I googled pet friendly hotels North Shore and this hotel was one of the top results. It was close to home and a good price through... More

Booked online, have stayed there before. Happy with our stay. We chose the more expensive upstairs room this time - yes, it was a bit larger, but we would probably opt for one of the ordinary ones next time. The room was fine, facilities all worked, staff were helpful (as they were on our previous visit). If you want an... More

Got to room, air conditioning wouldn't work, so sat in our hot room for 3 hours, receptionist tried but couldn't get it to work either. Told us she'd talk to her manager, but we would be moved. Air con worked straight away in new room. However the manager told us the next day there was nothing wrong with the air... More
