We stay here for one week. The room was standard but is clean. Oma is very welcome and friendly. Breakfast included the price, you can choose between rice, pancake or bread. We just felt like home. Hope to visit again. Thank you!!

I ended up staying four nights in this cozy place. They serve filling breakfasts, the place is clean and offers rental of motorbikes. It is family run, so the best thing are the people. In the time of my stay everything was managed by Noni, a young girl who loves to dive and travel and makes a great chatting companion with her bright mind and warm heart. She helped me organize all my transport onwards, as well as transport and a guide to Bada valley. She invited me to join a wedding of her friend, which was a great local experience! She will go an extra mile for her guests and in general they are a very unique family, definitely worth meeting! I wish you all best, hope guests will soon start arriving again!

I stayed 2 nights with my Family. The staff very friendly. Room was clean and comfortable bed. Breakfast you can choose between Nasi Goreng (fried rice) or Pancake. Tea and coffee available 24 hours. They help us to find the atraction around Tentena. All is perfect!

We came through Tentena on our way from Toraja to the Togean islands and I initially planed only for a short stop with a daytrip to Bada valley. Victory hotel was the perfect place to do so and much more. Instead of 2 nights we spent 4. The family run place made us feel right at home. Doris, the owner, is a wonderful woman and treats you with as much love as if you were her own children. Aldo one of her sons, fresh out of university, leads tours and organises some of the daily business at the hotel. He speeks perfect English and, if you get a chance to talk a bit longer to him, is one of the nicest hosts to meet throughout Indonesia. Tours are well organised with a personal touch when lunch was served at another sons house between rice fields and fish ponds. Apart from that they offer great advice on many different little do-it-yourself scooter rental adventures. We loved the beach at the lake and espacially the ride further along the road through rice paddies and little villages. Besides, the rooms are clean, the luxury ones come with hot water and are spacious. The cheapest rooms are basic with indonesian type shower but solid beds. All in all might have been the best stay in Sulawesi.

From the minute we arrived we felt welcome at Victory Hotel. For our whole stay Noni and the family were great hosts offering a very friendly service and were always happy to help us with trip planning etc. The room was fairly simple but a good size so exactly what we were looking for. We payed for a warm shower which did not disappoint

Definitely a perfect stay, Noni is great hosts very quick in her communication and very friendly. Even when we had to leave really early she made sure we had some breakfast on the go. When we arrived she mentioned we also get an discount which was a nice surprise. Breakfast is nice, pancakes fresh jam and fruits. The deluxe room is good, nice bed proper bathroom for Indonesian standards She can help you sort things out when on your way to Togean. But make sure you stay a night or two to discover tentena, small city with a lot to offer. Just rent a motorbike at victory hotel and hit the road. The waterfall is amazing.

When you arrive in Tentena, you will probably know how hotels in Sulawesi look like. This hotel is more or less the same as the others. What this hotel makes so special in Noni. Noni is super, super friendly and arranges everything for you. Noni arranges drivers for you to the Bada valley (please add some time to your schedule to go there). Noni is worried that you won’t get a meal because restaurants close early and notifies you personally about this. Noni arranges transfers to Ampana, Noni gets out of bed for you very early to prepare your breakfast. Noni arranges a speed boat for you and Noni makes a reservation for you for you stay on the Togean’s. Noni even calls your driver during the trip to the valley or to your next destination to check if everything is ok with you. I hope you get my point: Noni is fantastic!!! As I mentioned above: don’t make the Victoria Hotel in Tentena just a one night experience. The Bada valley (Lore Lindu NP) is really worth visiting from Tentena. Ask Noni for Rio, or Rio Grande as people call him. Rio can drive you to the valley and he can tell you everything about the megaliths there. Rio Grande is a great guy. According to their friendliness and willingness to help Noni and Rio might be family. Sadly I didn’t have enough time with them to asses if that is true 😜

Very friendly and helpful owner Oma Doris, very clean hotel with hot water, you don.t need aircon but hot water in here because it's pretty cold and windy during night in here. The pancake and mango jam is very delicious.

We nearly missed out on this find as trip advisor reported it as having no availability! We happened to call and they had rooms available. The staff here are unbelievably helpful and friendly with very good English skills Highly recommended

Staying here and meeting Noni and her family has been a very special heartwarming experience. We only stayed for 2 nights but we would have enjoyed much longer! Noni was going above and beyond to help us out when we had to go to a doctor and helped us to translate and be confident again to make our way onward in our travel! We are so thankful that this guesthouse and Noni crossed our path and will keep this memory close to us when we remember travelling Sulawesi
