We come to Billeragh every year in December, and we just love the house. A roaring fire every night and we sleep like Logs! Listowel town 5 mins away!!! We just can't wait for our annual visit and LiAm who runs it is the best!

First of all: It is the cheapest option for you stay in Listowel. If you think, because of that, there will be a lack of something you are completely wrong. We arrived at Listowel and wanted to stay there for a night, but the other B&Bs we checked, were quite bad for a quite high price. So we decided to...

We stayed one very comfortable night in Billeragh House. Beautiful open wood fire in the sitting room, with the owner, Liam (a pure gentleman), regaling us with stories of the locality and J. B. Keane. Very nice kitchen for cooking and open space to sit down and dine. Rooms are quiet and cozy. Highly recommended.

We stayed just one night in the Hostel, after driving past it a few times on the main round we eventually found it and met Liam the owner of the place who has renovated the building which is well over 200 years old in to a very homely, very large hostel. The room we had was spacious and the bed...

Liam is a very trusting, easy going firendly person. He allowed us to use the whole house, made wood fire every evening. Had access to all facilities and a key to get in and out as we need. The house was heated and clean. Farmhouse atmosphere, clean air, rainy/windy nights and countryside all contributed to and adventurous stay.

My partner and I arrived at this gorgeous and characterful hostel during an "off peak" (very wet) February visit. Liam, the owner/farmer could not have been more helpful. We wrote in advance and not only did he seem to open up the hostel especially for us when there were no other guests, but totally trusted us to look after it...

Stayed one night in the lovely old (1750) manor house Billeragh House Hostel. Just far enough out of town to be quiet - close enough to drive in. Had good dinner at the Horseshoe Pub. Liam is charming - the work done on the house truly amazing. The kitchen is large and the dining room airy with large windows. Well...

Great place to stay. The owner was very very nice. Very kind hospitality. Place very quiet and very nice garden outside. Listowel is a very nice town with a beautiful park. The next time I go to Ireland I want to go back to Listowel and spend some time visiting the surroundings. Per gli italiani che amano il golf, a...

A great few days spent at this lovely old house, three km from Listowel. It was a great bawe for the local beaches at Ballybunion and the attractive local town. Very friendly and helpful proprietors, Tom and Liam. I would high recommend this self catering hostel!

“If you want a telephone signal and don't mind sharing or have a family - choose the upstairs BACK room above the kitchen. There is a 3 and o2 signal near the window! Apparently vodaphone works generally.”
