We had such an amzing time at Ashford Lodge this weekend. Great location, beautiful setting and very professional and friendly staff, made us feel at home. We had a great time! Thank you for making our anniversary such a pleasant experience...Conveniently located for Listowel's beautiful town center.

The Ashford Lodge on the grounds of Ashford Castle is a spectacular location along Lough Corrib. But the staff at the Lodge did not seem to have its act together. Check-in was abrupt and not welcoming, questions about our stay were not answered correctly, and there just seemed to be a lack of communication and coordination that you might expect...

Breda and Noel Mahoney created and maintained a spotless, comfortable, charming, and well-placed B & B just a few minutes' walk from Listowel's town center. We had no idea what to expect upon arriving, but we were pleased beyond belief with our entire experience. The newly remodeled condition of the rooms; the delicious breakfast (served at the time of our...

We stayed at the Ashford Lodge for three nights and we were made to feel very at home. Breda is a very welcoming host and offered all sorts of local information freely and when asked. The accommodation is spotless and the full Irish breakfast hot and hearty. The B/B is about 15 minutes walk into town where you have an...

This place is a veritable gem. The proprietor and staff are very welcoming. The breakfasts are hearty and the place is comfortable and spotless, featuring great power-showers. And all this at extremely reasonable prices. Just don't expect chi-chi decor. All of the above is offered in a lovely home-spun environment making you feel like a old family friend rather than...

My husband and I recently stayed at the Ashford Lodge and were extremely impressed! When we arrived, we were so exhausted from the day we fell asleep until evening. We awoke with our stomachs growling and thought we would just walk into town and grab some dinner. Noel informed us that most restaurants would already be closed, but said there...

My family and I just got back from a great vacation in Ireland, our 6th to date. We decided to focus on the south west of Ireland this time for our travels. We had planned on staying one night in Listowel with the Mahony's in Ashford Lodge, but ended up staying five nights. Being a Texan I always prided myself...

Stayed in Listowel a few times recently and came across a lovely B & B just 3 minutes walk from the town centre but in a relatively quite location near the local golf course, river and town park. The owners Breda and Noel have been running this B & B for over 25 years and were very welcoming and helpful...
