Few places in my experience exceed their five-star rating; this is one of them! A luxurious room sumptuously appointed and with a view to due for from the feature window. Breakfast was a treat in itself, and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. It's expensive, but you certainly get what you pay for!

Beautiful atmosphere and location, excellent facilities, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. It was the most enjoyable B & B that we have stayed in. Rooms were clean and comfortable. I highly recommend this facility!

This is by far the best lodging choice of our 8-day trip in Ireland. A charming country house with a nice garden in the back, this B & B is very close to the shore. Our bed room has a small window with a spectacular view of the sea, the bathroom is probably the cleanest we have ever been to,...

What a jewel of a B&B convenient to nearby Dingle and Kerry. Annette, our hostess, was friendly, bubbly and really made the stay a first class experience. The touches like a menu in the room to choose from for breakfast, fruit cake in the room, immaculately clean and lovingly furnished room made the stay feel so luxurious. The breakfast--whether Irish...

Annette, the host, is one of the best hosts I have ever encountered. She just lives and breathes hospitality. The Shores offers an amazing breakfast selection. I loved the freshly cooked full Irish and the mixed fresh fruit bowl for starters. Annette bakes her own bread which just adds to the breakfast experience. I was lucky to get a room...

Very nice guest house! Great location, wonderful view of the ocean. The grounds are very beautiful and well maintained. Our rooms #1 was very comfortable. Every thing was clean to the standard you would see in a hospital OR! The breakfast was outstanding; and there is a menu you can select from. Nice common sitting room that was comfortable. Certainly...

We reserved a room at this B&B based on strong reviews. Didn't disappoint. It was really more than a B&B. (We just noticed that Trip Advisor labels The Shores as a Country House.) Luxury: the house itself, the setting overlooking the ocean, furniture in our room. Wonderful breakfast. All hosted by the vivacious, gracious hostess Anette. Perhaps a bit pricey....

We enjoyed two nights at Annette's Shores Country House. The view across the street of Brandon Bay is breathtaking, and we reserved the second-floor water view room with a balcony, which was a great move. We cracked the door a little at night and could gently hear the sheep and cows in the pasture leading to the water. That and...
