The b&b is a little out of the way (about 2 km from main drag) but that makes it quiet. Large rooms for families at a low rate. Best of all, a terrific couple who are wonderful and great cooks. The breakfast was excellent and plentiful. The hotel is a bit dated, but reasonable.

The photo's of Hazelwood are beautiful but the farm needed some tender loving care. The owner was friendly and helpful. There was a nice fire in the fireplace in the lounge that evening. We were booked for two nights and decided not to stay the second. This would be a great place with a few added touches. The plastic table...

The owner is really nice (her daughter is so cute ;-), and the old farm is a nice place : cheaps are eating grass in the garden, the cat and dog come easily to you, and it is 50m away from the stone "beach". Just out of Kenmare, so you definitely need a car. Breakfast is great (what a muffin...

Miffy has a wonderful arrangement for guests with a wing of bedrooms, a spacious eating area, a recreation room with a ping pong table, and a cozy sitting rom which had a fire in the hearth each evening. Just outside the window you can see the family sheep and a guinea hen. A short walk will take you to the...

Hazelwood B&B has a perfect setting. From most windows one can view Kenmare Bay and from some, the mountains. When we were there in late April, the mountain peaks were still snow covered. A sheep grazed in the grass surrounding the property. A short walk down a winding path led to a secluded beach. Inside, the house is warm and...

I have stayed at Hazelwood a few times and returned again this year. The living room area has been refurbished and we spent a nice evening infront of the log fire. The breakfast is still amazing and plentiful, especially the freshly baked muffins. This is such a peaceful spot to stay, and it is a short walk down to Kenmare...

Spent a long weekend with my other half and I enjoyed it thorougly. The property is hidden from the road which gives you a sense of isolation from the cars. It has amazing views over the bay from the breakfast room and bedrooms. Breakfast was plentiful, freshly cooked Irish breakfasts (mmm...those home made muffins) or cereals and toast. The family...

I stayed at Hazelwood a few times over the past few years and have always enjoyed my stay. The breakfast is great, with a full Irish breakfast and freshly baked muffins. You can arrange pony and horse riding at the nearby stable and go on a trail down to the sea where you can admire the view whilst your horse...
