Pat is a superfriendly man that did everything to make us feel at home. He certainly is the best host we so far had in Ireland! The rooms are very clean and comfy and offer all you need. Breakfast is delicious and obviously made with love. We would always go there again!

Pat is just incredible! I've had the most warm welcoming at his place. He genuinely cares about his guests! He sure spoiled me rotten and set the bar high. I'd come here again any day. The room was spacious, cozy, and clean! You could choose from Müsli, cereal, yoghurt, homecooked pan cakes, and traditional irish breakfast. Pat would be happy...

Met by the friendliest of men who runs this delightful B&B and he's called Pat. He was so warm and welcoming to us. Shown to our room which had a bath but moved us to one with a shower when my wife explained she'd recently undergone surgery for a new hip Our new room was at front of the house...

As many of the other reviewers note, Pat is warm and fantastic! He has such a cheery and positive demeanor it's infectious. The house itself is about a 10 minute walk to town. It was perfectly clean and quite standard for converted houses. The room was a bit tight (we had a double bed but little room for much else)...

The location was good. The room was just fine. But the best thing about this visit was Pat! He was the most amazing host! Hard to believe he's handling this by himself! He made us feel so at home! We would highly recommend this place just so you can experience Pat!!!

It's hard to add much to what everyone else has said: Pat is an incredibly gracious host: friendly, funny, full of local knowledge, and helpful (e.g., driving us to the bus station, without us even having to ask). The B&B is very comfortable, and the breakfasts he makes are varied and outstanding. The location is good: an easy 5-10 minute...

Patrick will welcome you to his comfortable home. Conveniently located within walking distance of town and at the start of the Ring of Kerry drive. Good parking and delicious breakfast made out stay very good.

Staying with Pat at Avelow House was one of the best parts of our Ireland trip, hands down. His warmth and kindness are unrivaled. The second we arrived, he pulled all 4 of us in for a big bear hug. We were immediately hooked. Aside from his kindness, Pat is an amazing wealth of knowledge. With his guidance, we got...

The owner Pat was so charming and welcoming! Made you feel right at home. Rooms are super clean and they have everything you need. Location was perfect just a few minutes walk into town. Breakfast was delicious. The best part of this experience was the owner Pat, what a great guy!

We stayed at this place for one night. Patrick is an absolutely amazing and loving host, it's hard to find someone like him. A warm welcome, a helpful and courteous host, cozy rooms and a delicious breakfast made this stay unforgettable. He always wears a smile on his face and makes you feel like you know him for years.
