The LANSDOWNE ARMS HOTEL in Kenmare Co Kerry is a true gem in the Kingdom County. This family friendly hotel ideally located conveniently on the gateway to West Cork and The Ring of Kerry. We arrived on Sunday afternoon May 3rd to a warm welcoming comfortable lobby. Large chairs and earthy décor made the place feel homely once we stepped...

This is an old fashioned hotel with big rooms, deep bathtubs and lots of corridors, staircases and sitting areas. Its small staff is friendly but don't expect bell-hops and valet parking. The Bold Thaddy Quinn bar is popular with older locals. It also has a good bar food and daily specials dinner menus. There are other good restaurants in Kenmare,...

We stayed one night while attending a wedding in Kenmare. We were given early check in which was great. We were warmly greeted with efficient check in. The hotel is old style with a welcoming feel. Wi fi is only available in the lobby, it would be better if also available in the bedrooms. The bedroom was spacious, clean, comfortable...

Very impressed with this hotel. Relaxing reception area and nice welcome from staff. Good sized double bedroom and everything spotless. Comfortable bed and tasty breakfast. Central to town so very handy. Would definitely stay again!

The rooms are lovely, but it is the staff the location on the corner of the main street of one of the most attractive towns in Ireland and its lovely bar and lounge that make this a really pleasant place to base yourself to see Kenmare and Kerry
