The host was kind, gracious, friendly but kind of let the family do their own thing. The locations is just minutes away from the center of town. There are beautiful churches close by, GREAT pubs, cute shops.... lots of options for everyone in the group! There is also a golf course within walking distance and my dad really enjoyed his...

Our first night in Ireland in this charming place with kind owners like John and Janie was a wonderfull start for our trip. Our room was very clean, spacious, quaint and had a lovely view of the bay and their well kept garden - where different birds drop by to visit. It was so romantic. The breakfast was excellent, and...

We spent four nights (17-20 May) in this family owned and operated luxury B&B. We were given maps and recommended daily travel itineraries and sights. Also, greeted daily by our Hostess with a choice of fine Irish breakfast dishes (excellent). The rooms were large and comfortable overlooking either Lake Kenmare or the beautiful garden. Just a short scenic walk (500...

My husband and I enjoyed 3 lovely nights at this beautiful B&B. Janie and her brother John took great care of us. Rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated. Large windows in upstairs rooms look over backyard and tidal waters. Janie makes a great hot breakfast, or you can enjoy a fresh continental breakfast loaded with cereals yogurt fresh fruit and...

We stayed 2 nights at the Sallyport House and highly recommend it. The house is impeccably clean and the rooms are nice sizes with your own bathroom. John and Janie Arthur were the perfect hosts. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and Janie was very attentive to our needs. She had a pot of coffee ready for us before...

We loved our one night stay at the Sallyport House, and wished we could have stayed longer. The house is set off the road with a gorgeous view of the bay and within a short walk to town. We were welcomed by the owner, Janie, and since it was near the dinner hour, she immediately made a reservation for us...

This is a lovely B&B on the edge of Kenmare. It is run by a brother and sister who are very affable. The bedroom was a good size with a good bathroom. The wifi is excellent when it works but the service can be intermittent. However we experienced a similar problem in a restaurant in the town. They serve a...

What a beautiful place to spend a relaxing few days. The house is spectacular with panoramic views of Kenmare Bay and the surrounding countryside. We had the room with the seated area overlooking the garden with an outstanding view of the back of the impressive Kenmare Park Hotel and its grounds. This is the Hotel you cut through if you...

Beautiful views from our room, the best sleep, great variety and good quality breakfast, less than 5 min walk to the town and extremely friendly hosts who are happy to give advice on where are the places to go!! A trip to see the wild Atlantic way was a great tip! A repeat visit is for definite! 😀
